Because it's their site, it's a large claim to make. If something goes wrong they don't want to be held at fault. Lots of things could go wrong with a contest. Someone may not get their prize, even if he sends it. What if it's lost in the mail? What if someone gets busted while taking pics and blames the whole thing on Scoob o the site for letting him do it? What if someone gets busted and directs the popo to this site specifically? Idk. Just throwing it out there. Let's smoke. You wannoo?

What are they gonna get busted with? I doubt they can press parapernalia charges on a bong or pipe that they can't test on. And the scoobster said to roll tobacco in joints and blunts. If it's lost in the mail, that only sucks for scooby and has nothing to do with the admin. If some dumbass gets caught, it's their fault alone. Nobody is making anybody play this game.

Well it's not really random, because the idea came up after several postings in a different thread that a lot of us follow. I thought it was clear that this thread was about ideas for 100 different ballsy / funny pictures of people smoking as a possible contest, if it is approved. He posted that he already told the admin what the prize is, but I guess that posting got ignored / accidentally overlooked too. It's meant to cause excitement, and if he's being legitimate, it's definitely intriguing. What more details are you expecting to get if he hasn't finished planning it or running it by the admin (like he's expected to do)? What's wrong with him being excited and posting about it and keeping the people interested in the loop? I've seen dumber subjects posted on this site. I really don't care what the prize is. He could lie after we post the 100 pictures and send us a picture of 10,000$...still think it's a fun idea, and if you want to inform yourself, just go back and actually read the posts, then subscribe to the thread. I'm not trying to be mean either by the way, I just think that people are misunderstanding what he's trying to do without even taking the time to read what he posted. Even if there is no prize in the end...what is wrong with the contest? He's not asking for personal information, or even for a picture of your face. Wth is all the debate about?
