I'm confused right now...

My mate came by to see my plants and he says I've shaped my plant in a way that I'll have 8 colas and i think its to good to be true. All I did was super crop it a couple of times and pruned it but never topped it and 8 nodes shot up to the top. The canopy is flat like a table. Now maybe I'm just too stoned bongsmiliebecause I can't figure it out. Are Those 8 nodes going to turn into 8 colas? For years I just grew them vertically because I didn't have the time. Now I'm in my second week of flower and I'm seeing some pistils but are those 8 nodes going to be 8 colas or am I missing something here? I just need some help but I'm happy if its true :bigjoint:

When I FIM/Top I get about 8 kolas, of off about 8 stems

supercropping is the biggy that I just can't do ...

just to horrid to do, at least for me

Yea that's what i thought to mate but then I started smoking and said to myself I'm going to bend this bitch I don't care. Only reason I did it is because she was growing freakishly fast so I knew she could take the punishment. Next thing ya know I'm super cropping every plant and pruning left and right ha. To me topping was too brutal but next grow I'll be doing both. Thanks for the response though mate. I want 8 huge colas.

Im confused. In my defense thats my natural state.

Im confused the Op is confused and Ganga guarl is confused in an unconfused way im sure, 2 meanwell is confused but im not sure which parts or reply's he may be confused about.

But the question is. Are we really confused?

Whether you top, FIM or bend, bringing down the apex of the plant slows or stops the production of auxins, which work to keep lateral buds dormant. The buds break dormancy, and if you've bent the plant or branches over, they'll grow vertically and produce the flat top you describe. I usually top twice to produce four main leaders, then supercrop each and stake them so they grow nearly horizontal and produce many colas from the lateral buds, which then grow vertically. Doing this also allows more light penetration and air movement.

Gotta just do it once, then you'll see there is no danger. Go bend one branch of one plant for a confidence builder. If you bend far enough that it's flimsy (which is what I do intentionally) just stake it until it firms up again and you're good to go.

I've been busy the last couple of days so thanks to the guys that helped. But to the ones that didn't, ya want to get nasty with stoney fer askin' a couple of questions? Why can't I ask questions? I don't like how this website is to newer members sometimes. The reason I was confused is because I barely did anything to have 7 tops (now 9). This is my first time doing any training and I was just happy but puzzled as to how I could have done that my for my first time ever training. We need to come together as a community and help but not be rude and nasty. But I guess the proper term was happy not confused so that was my mistake. Again thank you guys now lets roll one up bongsmilie
