Yes it is awesome and you may never go back. If you click on my avatar and click on my journal...I have a 200 gallon outdoor mainlined garden.
200 gallons heh that's gonna be a huge harvest yer gonna have if I ever saw one. I'll check it out. Mainlining looks soo good late flower. Almost doesn't even look like cannabis when the plants start throwing purple too.

Yeah on that link I sent you...9 posts down from the top that guy did a time laps of his outdoor plant. He pulled 5 pounds off of it

Whether you top, FIM or bend, bringing down the apex of the plant slows or stops the production of auxins, which work to keep lateral buds dormant. The buds break dormancy, and if you've bent the plant or branches over, they'll grow vertically and produce the flat top you describe. I usually top twice to produce four main leaders, then supercrop each and stake them so they grow nearly horizontal and produce many colas from the lateral buds, which then grow vertically. Doing this also allows more light penetration and air movement.
Strain depending.

With my short grow season I'm not going to pull the same amount for the blue dreams as the southern states but I'm aiming for 3 pounds a plant.
Hey GG I just saw a blue dream in 200 G fabric think it's whodatnation a RIU member phone went blank.on cell

Yes.

Cannabis is an apical plant. (Christmas tree shape.) When you top, fim, lst or super crop you cause the plant to redistribute auxins.

You bent the limb over and it allows the lower nodes to turn into main growth.
I always thought LST wasn't redistributing auxins but simply when the main stem of the plant is bent, gravitropism kicks in and the rest of the plant tries to orientate itself from there on out by growing lower nodes vertically when exposed to light and air?

The only time I thought auxins truly shift is after topping/fimming and that's only temporary?

I guess that to. It's auxins to. When you bend it, other limbs catch up to each other and now multiple tops are the main. They auxins are distributed.

LST for me is beaten her down, making it grow below the Snap..oops ductape.
UB uncle ben was the one that I 1st heard of saying auxins.
Need to cut plant at node 6 or 7 off with the apical.. to redistribute ausins.
Now thats been along time so correct me if wrong please.:peace:

I've been busy the last couple of days so thanks to the guys that helped. But to the ones that didn't, ya want to get nasty with stoney fer askin' a couple of questions? Why can't I ask questions? I don't like how this website is to newer members sometimes. The reason I was confused is because I barely did anything to have 7 tops (now 9). This is my first time doing any training and I was just happy but puzzled as to how I could have done that my for my first time ever training. We need to come together as a community and help but not be rude and nasty. But I guess the proper term was happy not confused so that was my mistake. Again thank you guys now lets roll one up bongsmilie
@StoneyMcphatter man im sorry didnt mean for you to take it that way.
I was just high as phuck on some blueberry.I new Ganja gurl new what she was talking about was really a rub at her.
I remember when i was a fimin and getting 4-6 per fim.Strain dependent.

Stoney you can hit me up anytime,I will do my best to help or point you in the right direction.
