'criminal record' i said, of cause people will still get busted. Pay a small fine and everyone's on their way. Think of a parking fine. ur a bad boy, pay a fine and on ya way. No record.

Wont get locked up if it's Decriminalised. Love to see it Federally decriminalised here. Has been decriminalised in one or two territories here (ACT and SA) but that was in the 80s from memory. ACT will be legal for possession and small grows this January. Watch the arrests rise as people go over the limit and are caught.
Got to do some bad stuff to be locked up these days. I know thats different in America from your prison % stats.

Not many here would go to gaol for a MJ offence. Ive never met anyone who has- know a couple who did a few months for dealing in powders.
We have had this convo before and i think our different of opinion is due to how Prisons are used and operated in America to here.

what happens if u get caught for selling an once?
I can be found to be in possession of an ounce and get a verbal warning. Can have 3 verbal warnings in a 10 year period before it becomes a court date (just a magistrates court) where i would get maybe a small fine and perhaps if im unlucky a 3 month good behaviour bond. In the ACT they have enacted some "legal" rules around their decriminalisation as of Jan this year and its a confusing mishmash.

i do belive it. Never said or thought otherwise. Just every time i seem to post "fk legal" or some such. you seem to quote me and then we have close enough to the same convo again.
We have had legal convo in the Aussie thread a few times and it seems majority on that thread dont want legal either just decriminalisation with a look at it being removed from the drugs registry in the future.

yep, thats one of the problems we have here. diff states diff rules. be much easier if it was all federal.
