The term 'mop the floor with him' leaps to mind. The newly elected DNC chairman Tom Perez was greeted by crowds chanting exactly this sentiment when he went on the 'unification tour' with Bernie Sanders last winter!

Do you honestly think he had a chance of winning the Democratic primary? Considering what he was up against with super delegates and DNC favoring Clinton? Didnt Dean cast his super delegate vote for Clinton even though he should of of did the "democratic" thing and put his support in the direction of his constituents? Of course he was doing the right thing no matter what primary voters wanted him to do.

He showed the the DNC is a corrupt organization and that superdelegates are in place to make certain the party doesn't have to listen to its members.

They were clumsy and arrogant about it and now they're paying the price in terms of credibility with their constituents.

The polls suggested otherwise, and he had much higher favorability than Clinton. She was the most disliked candidate for potus (next to Trump) in the modern era of politics.

I don't know what you're basing your emphatic answer on.

I voted for Sanders and when he lost the nomination in the primaries, I was OK with Clinton as the nominee. So was Bernie. I don't understand what about "he lost" the cadre of Sanders supporters didn't understand. They've been crying about "rigged" ever since. Even helped get Trump elected as Prez.

I don't have a problem with Sanders, I still support the issues he ran on last year. Most progressives on this board including the ones who most strongly supported Clinton would have been OK with Sanders and not been in such a dither over a primary loss.

My concern is that these Sanders babies are going to split the party in 2018 over nothing. Also can't help but recognize and dislike their reliance on fake news for their talking points.
