This is rather amazing, Friends and foes alike are putting aside their differences and helping this man because it is the right thing to do. I am sure he is grateful and I am glad to see we can put aside our differences.

Gary had an amazing lawyer, Daniel Hartman of Petoskey. Dan worked hard on this case and got it down to a very minor charge. Gary turned out well and was happy with the result. His legal expenses are not fully paid, and every cent goes to the costs, less what gofundme keeps (relatively small amount). Your help is needed and appreciated by all involved.

Right! And what about the arresting officer? How can you feel like you're making the community safer by cuffing that poor guy and treating him like a criminal? Nevermind, I'm being naive. Cops don't become cops to make the community safe! They do it for the POWER!

Our medicinal state laws only enrich NORML attorneys and pot docs in the end, and sadly on the backs of patients and caregivers. Fuck these schemers and their schemes, it's long past time to remove marijuana from the federal Schedule I list and let these parasites find new hosts ...
