so if you only had three soil amendments, what would you use to carry you through fruition? saying you started with peat or coco. No “craft blends” .

As for me
vermicompost
corn steep powder
gypsum

If using soil, amendments make sense; but peat & coco aren't soil, why would you want to treat them as such?

"Starting with peat" so to make a basic potting soil, I'd add EWC, Homemade garden compost and vermiculite. Is that my three? Otherwise, I'd start with something like ProMixBX (peat based) add vermiculite, EWC and a rock dust or granular kelp. Preferably both, but that's probably four.
