Is this light even out yet? I'd imagine it will be next to impossible to find answers until it's been out for a few months.
No you can pre order the new ones, triple d has the 2015 model, I wanted to know if it's all its made out to be. The company is actually changing over to Fluence scientific I believe. I've received a few emails from them but have yet to actually get them on the phone. The newer models are 30% cheaper ,18% more efficient if I'm correct. I haven't found many journals with the old models yet , but this light looks to fit my needs.

So you're saying those are the brands with the most quality which produces the best harvest? I'm spending some serious coin on LED's soon to try them and I DO NOT want to buy some bullshit and try to take it back. It seems like every brand i look at though theres 5 good things 5 bad things....

I'm trying to grow like 24 plants veg then flower and get at least 6 pounds. So waht lights would YOU use...

Getting into the led game in my veg tent. Got 3x3 looking and thinking about going with 8 CXB3590 3500k on 2 HLG-185H-C1400B drivers. Tent or diy fixture could be used to flower in the future. Is 3500K going to veg well enough or should I be looking at 5000k? Growing mostly hybrids these days with the occasional indi.

I ordered the 2015 model for $1,900 few weeks ago, maybe they dropped their prices idk.
I haven't found anyone complaining about them, which is pretty rare for an led company. But yeah, I can't find any journals either

FluenceBioengeniering/BML now have a new light, the, Vyper as well as the SpyderX. Their new spectrum is perfect IMO. BTW! Our girls will grow big tonight, Christmas Full Moon! They love the Full moon, especially the rare ones. For real. Meet Christmas to all & to all a good night!

Guys and Gals,

This has most likely already been answered somewhere in this thread, but there's 392 pages, so...

I'm interested in doing a 4 CXB3590 build. My understanding is that I need to run about 3.45A through them at 36V, or half the amperage at 72V in order to get the 500W I'd like. At that amperage, it looks like I'd have to run each with its own individual driver. Is this my only choice or can they be run off of one driver? Can anyone recommend a driver or set of drivers for this build?

Thanks!

Wow what size is yours? For the new 600 it's only $900 I didn't ask about the 1200. They are also bigger in length and width now 42x46. Not 100% but I will copy my emails and post

I looked at soooo many different LED's & then I talked to ALOT of different people that actually had different lights b4 I bought my light & for "ME" this company & this light (spydr 600) were the best choice...
I've only had this light for a short period of time so let's see if I'm still this happy with my purchase in a year from now!!
I feel pretty confident that I will, but only time will tell.

Here are just a few of the reasons that I chose this light:
1) The Company is located in the USA (Austin Texas) & I live 90 miles away
2) The owner Nick is very helpful & honest with tons of experience (He & another guy designed this system)
3) The design versatility is perfect for ME. I can add or subtract different lights to change the color spectrum & ppfd very easily. I don't know of any other design that allows for such versatility without using any tools. just unscrew a couple of knobs & take off or add as many lights as you like. SIMPLE
4) You can order custom light frequencies you don't have to stick with the predesigned spectrum since every light is custom made to order any way.
5) This light does NOT need nor does it have a cooling fan. This is very important because if you buy a light that does have a fan & the fan goes out after 13,000 hrs then it no longer matters that the light itself is good for 50,000hrs because your light is useless without the fan....AND that is exactly what happens to ALOT of these LED's that require a cooling fan, so keep that in mind!
6) The company prides itself on only using quality parts & does not use any cheap knockoff crap in it's lights like so many other companies do.
7) Because the company is close to me, I was able to personally talk to other people that already have the light & I was able to see it operate in person.
8) I did not find a single person that actually had "personal knowledge" of this light that had anything negative to say about it or the company. (excluding competitors or others who had skin in the game).
These are most of the reasons that I felt like this particular light was right for me!

Good Luck!

The new SPYDRx Plus emits 25% more PAR than the SPYDR 600 with an 18% improvement in energy efficiency. Even better news for you, the new fixture comes at a 31% reduction in price! They start at $900 and we do offer volume discounts for orders of 10 or more.

This was one of the many lights that I looked at b4 deciding on the spydr & I had it in my top 3-4. The price & design were 2 of the main factors for me...
What were your main reasons for choosing this light over the spydr, area 51, or some of the others??
