If its not burning, it's not too close... right? (Pics)

Is this going to have any affects on the quality of the buds?

My plants are tall and close to the light but none are burning. One plant is especially close - about 3 1/2 inches away from the light. I've taken a close-up of that plant and as you can see, the leaves are not burning or showing signs of heat stress. The plant looks great, all in all.

The light is a 400w HPS in a cool tube attached to a 449 cfm fan (about half throttle however). The strain is DP Blue Moonshine @ day 27 of flowering.

Will the leaves are ridging up so they are not digging it, and you need those leafs. As for the bud I would think its not going to kill it, but I don't think it is good for it. And they are going to grow alot more. Can you LST them over to like a 45 degree angle?

Well I can feel warmth, but I do not consider it hot.

I LST'ed them for a couple weeks then took the strings down. The plant's forms have mostly stayed tho. But, I think that might be a reason why the middle one appears to be still growing, is because its actually just straightening back out. I'm working with an aeroponic unit in a close quarter cabinet and I'm always have to take the unit out to check the water, plants, etc. I had to undo all strings everytime I took the unit out, which is often.
