Are you feeding them exactly the same and what not ?
I'm horrible, hahaha but Yes both strains get fed the same. They started as seedlings together which makes it easy for me. I'm still learning all the tell tale signs of each nutrient excess/deficiency but have been using my first grows experience/results to lead the way on this grow. Grew 3 strains at the same time for my first grow. Didn't know better but had a blast, and terrific yields I thought.

GH tri-flora series, cal-mag, hydroguard
I change up the amounts and drop the flora-grow about 2 weeks after flip or they will claw hard. I double up on flora bloom and ride that nearly the rest of the grow. I have tried increasing amounts to the bottles recommended and had horrible reactions at half strength, last grow. So the amounts below just work. I'm using RO water as well. Also changing out about every 3 weeks, even though I'm tempted to let it ride more depending on how the plants are reacting. I kept water changes at 2 weeks first grow. Experiencing neut lockout on GG#4 after 2 weeks. This grow has been 3 weeks between changes with me seriously contemplating week 4 but knowing I risk neut lock out again with new strains. I'll think about it and probably still change the water for results sake. Checking it now, the BD is showing phosphorus deficiency which is in the water so is actually lockout from salt build up. 3 weeks is about max. My clones will most likely not get a replacement water change until flip, its seriously not necessary. I just pH balance and top of with fresh neut water nightly. Part of it is learning. I was scared I couldn't break a branch first grow and now I've been super cropping Tangie on purpose. Def have to keep learning, its been fun and insightful overall.

So....for veg, I'm using 2.5 ml per gallon (5mg/gl calmag) of each of the items listed above and then switching it up accordingly after beginning flowering. It works and I like the increase in sulfur from doubling up on the flora bloom second half of the grow.

I’m having a hard enough time with soil for hydro I could never imagine even attempting it but shoot it’s looks like u got it dialed in. And yup I just attempted 2 strains but with like 10 plants only 1 was different plus I had her in the back of the tent smh she died

I’m taking notes because I got a super lemon Mac clone that I’m gonna veg for about 30 more days and she’s 90 percent Sativa I never grew Sativa before I’m kinda nervous and I’m gonna try 8 new strains this time I hope this doesn’t go horribly wrong

You can check out my first grow here @ https://www.rollitup.org/t/icedrgn027s-first-grow-dwc-stone-less-multi-strain-mainline.1008956/
3 strains 8 plants. Hydro for that as well for my first grow. There is a lot that can go wrong with hydro but I can make quick changes to deal with things as they come. I like that aspect. I've also heard other soil growers say its not any easier in soil indoors and the hydro yields are supposedly bigger than the rest. I'm still dialing it in honestly. I would like to follow others recommendations to increase strength of my nutrients but excess signs scare me as much as deficiencies atm... still learning. I may boost my K higher than usual to help with Blue Dreams deficiency ITM.

First grow for me was mostly hybrids with this grow having Tangie as a Sativa that is known to grow 7 feet tall. I mainline everything. The tripple toppings help with the height issue slightly and yield to boot. I was forced to super crop as I ran out of ceiling room this grow. The pinch and bend works really well as long as you have some sort of support system/ties in place to make sure it doesn't just fold over while it knuckles back up.

Ok ok I got a strawnana clone in a 1 gallon pot that supposed to be indica dominant but it’s already about 2 feet long after tying it down I just told my self I might have to mainline her. But I got to read a book on hydro or something because for some reason it just looks like the hardest thing in the world to do

It appears that strain, while even though a sativa, only grows about 4 ft. https://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/strawberry/

I would mainline anyway(not on autos though), perfect opportunity to take clones and increase your yield. Makes a nice bush of colas ;)

I'm probably way over simplifying it science-wise for the water changes and nutrients as I am still dialing it in and learning through trial and error, but if you skim the beginning of this thread I put a walk-through of how I built my setup that I have used for both grows of multiple strains. I could switch from DWC to RDWC, but I like being able to move my plants, something I am afraid I will lose if I modify/upgrade to a reservoir system. If it aint broke don't fix it lol, but the thought of changing one reservoir instead of every bucket seems appealing. I think only having 5 nutrient bottles and using basically the exact same amounts is a great way to take the guess work out of it. Its not perfect and you need to keep the pH in range but will get you into flower phase near perfectly at which point you will be due for a bucket hand wash, fresh water, and an eye on your plants for what they are telling you. Other members have helped me learn by saying "hey, that clawing is too much N", hence why I switch up slightly at flowering now and there are info graphics I used to help with that as well. After seeing it a few times you will just know, kinda when I see clawing. This grow I have been seeing where I can slack off. I get lazy and hate to haul buckets of water to the drain for washing. A needle file has worked tremendously keeping my homemade air bubblers open from gunk of the bennies. I only run the Hydroguard because I don't like keeping an eye on my water temps and root rot will kill a plant quickly. I got lucky and have never lost one. Hydroguard brought the last one back, it flowered nicely and has been taking the work out of keeping my temps cooler ever since, haha!

See I’m not gonna lie that seems like a tonof work with soil I use Ro water with slow release fertilizer and call it a day but I just feel like I’m not getting the most out of my plants but yeah I can for sure try a homemade 1 and just experiment I got nothing to lose

But you have to deal with the dirt. There can't be an easy or clean way to deal with that. I figure, I kinda have what they call the hardest grow method with the largest yields working for me. These plants are so wonderful. So many ways to grow them. Always cool to compare notes and smoke. I normally just drop the same stuff in a gallon jug every night and top off.

Just walked into the tent for the water changes and neut upgrades. Got hit with the overpowering smell of cut oranges in the air.

Sat Oct 17 - 93 days after planting (water change) full strength neuts fingers crossed, I'm normally at half strength all grow. Chart in pic form

Here I am chicken to give the clones full strength per that chart because I know claw happens at half strength at transition. Gotta learn somehow, doing it anyway. I'll deal with the reproccussions later.

Ok it took a while but after reading all that I actually feel kinda confident that I can do that and I love the dirt, I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. And how are those clones doing I was trying to figure out how the hell you turned that into 4 new clones
