Ice Water last 2 weeks?

The point of this post was to see if anyone here does it or has tried it. That's it. Not spreading misinformation if I'm literally seeing a difference in my own garden that I tend. Sorry if it doesn't fit in to your award winning grow techniques.

Most times when people try these things they think they see a difference because they want to. I don't doubt that the cold temps turn your leaves purple but so what? It looks pretty and that's all it does.

Flushing has the same effect in the last few weeks of grow, and people swear by that. I'm guessing it has more to do with terpine production as the plant moves mobile nutrients to the buds. I would love to see someone try this with a control, and possibly compare it to flushing in the last 1-2 weeks. I think OP is mad about the reaction because people are dismissing this out of hand without having tried it, or even attempting to explain the effect on the plant without applying what we do know about plant physiology/biology.
 
Have seen a grow where all of the strains seem to have a similar taste and smell whilst smoking. I was thinking that quite possibly the nutrients not being properly flushed from these plants was somehow overpowering the natural terpenes. Both smell and taste manifested though-out were very undesirable. There was a personnel change followed by a change in the nutrients followed by an improvement in bud tightness as well as buzz in general and then starting with the smell and taste problems. Any thoughts?
 
Watering with cold water like 40 f does seem to shock the plant and increase terpene production as a self defense to the cold. It's not bro science its actual science of a plants immune system reacting to stimuli
