I thought po boxes weren't allowed?

I thought a person had to have a physical address not just a po box number to register with an lp. So how come it's alright for me to send my hard earned money and personal info to a po box? Medreleaf just got back to me and I noticed they have a po box, they are not the only ones. Maybe I'm...wrong!

They wont deliver to a PO box because someone over 18 has to sign for the marijuana when it is delivered? My best guess..

well that leaves me out as my town only has PO boxes. and canada post just announced a few weeks ago that they are stopping home delivery and all will be PO boxes so I guess no one will be able to have access to their meds.

another round for the defense :-| one thing is clear sick ppl actually getting safe healthy meds that work for cheap is last on the list. if nobody buys from lp's they will sink and judges will set the stage here soon.

This should be brought to the attention of Conroy.
You can have it shipped to your doctor to be held for pick up by yourself, that is an option in the regs.

That would be a pain in my ass if I had to go out to the docs to get it. I wonder what will hap own when those super boxes come? I assume I will have to go to the post office to pick it up. Or would CP deliver it? Ha ha

as I live in Alberta and the doctors here will not sign I had to get a doctor in BC so it would only be a 12 hour drive each way to pick up my meds there. a half hour drive leaves me in severe pain for about three days never mind the cost of the trip a couple of times a month. so after 53 years without getting into any trouble with the law I will become a criminal on April 1st thanks Mr. Harper you will get my vote for sure next election. oh wait they won't let me vote from jail. sorry Harper I guess I will not be able to vote for you after all

I checked this out, because we don't have home delivery up here in the sticks and was surprised when my stuff came to the post office. I called, and was told that if you live in an area with no other option, then the PO Box is fine. You still have to go in and sign when you pick up the package. If you ask they will provide a tracking number, and you can go on Canada Post's site, enter the #, and set up an email alert so that you will know when it arrives. It's kinda cool, my phone pings and meds magically appear.

The rule is they are not allowed to mail to a PO box because the actual medical patient has to be there to sign the package.

What possible reason would there be in your mind that the LP themselves can't have a PO Box? You're grasping at straws.

As mentioned by someone previously, LP's can and do ship to PO boxes. You just have to go into your post office and sign like any other express post that required a signature.

i know people that live far from there post office and doctor. many live far from there mail or p.o box. canada is huge.

a lot of bad info. patients can have goods received threw a po box, the postal company will give you a package slip and that will stay in the posty building till you come in and sign for it. you cant drive and pick up weed. lp have a po box for security reasons, others will have one cause if there in a small town they don't have door too door and they are stopping this anyway in parts of Canada.

Yeah, won't it be great when all the super boxes are full of super weed. I can't see why anyone would want to break in to those and steal shit.
