i need help with cloning in my AG3

i got an aerogarden3 from a buddy last night, took 3 clones about 6 inches tall with more than 6 or 7 nodes, used olivias and put in the medium that came with it in the seed packs (i took he seeds out).
today at 2pm i looked at them for the first timeand they are wilty, the whole top is sagging and all the leaves are wilty. as soon as i saw i grabbed the only thing i could think of that would fit over it as both a humidity dome and a way to make the light less intense. it fits surprisingly well.

what am i doing wrong? what should i do to save these clones?

like i said ive never used an aerogarden, any advice would help.

heres some pics.

Light is good for those clones..

Do you know if your clones have formed roots yet?

You need to cut a hole in the bottom of the sponge that you can stick the stem through to get it submerged in water.

Also, why are your plants soaking wet...?

Clones are usually saggy until they have nice root structures formed to give them the adequate amount of water/nutes.

Also, since you have pretty mature plants, you might want to pop a small nute tab in there.

It is normal for your clones to wilt for the first 1-5 days. They DO NOT have to have a nice root system to be upright......the stress from cutting is too shocking for the little cuttings...3-4 nodes is good and cutting big fan leaves in half can help root faster.Just mist them 1 or twice daily and just leave'em alone 18-6 light cycle is good. They need the light....keep close if using fluorescent...far if using HID.Keep temps 70-80 degrees

well lurk everything you said is kindof the oposite of everything ive learned, i guess i paniced making this post, thanks anyway, i figured it out, that make shift dome and MISTING my clones with water did just the trick.

here is a pic of my plants 3 hours after the dome.

i hate it when people act like you dont know anything and your doing everything right... dont try to help if it doesnt help.

clones grow better in less light, they should stand up more than those if theyre done right, a good low streas clone doesnt wilt, when they wilt it means they are dieing, if they dont fall all the way over there is still hope... from what ive learned. just a good misting with freash water and a humidity dome did the trick.

Whatever man... you don't have to be a dick about it. :| I just asked you why your plants were soaking wet...

"dont try to help if it doesnt help."

That doesn't even make sense..

Why did you even have the AG on if you had the dome covered?

Seemed like that would be wasteful.

If you were misting them and you didn't have the root tips submerged in the water there wasn't any reason to have the pump on either.

... mk, dont try to help if you dont know what your taling about... that better?
im sorry if i come off as a dick but you shouldnt tell people advice that is wrong... it could cost people theyre crop...
the dome is thin solid white, light penetrates it, its not dark inside... that wouldnt make any sence... it cuts down the amount of intence light your clones recieve, thats why you have to have them so far away from hids, they dont grow when cloning, the energy in the leaves revert to root growth, light does nothing, but if they are in the dark they will just die because they think they are dead... they have to be in dim light so they know they are still alive and able to grow...

its just a bubble system basicly, theres an airstone in a bowl of water... and a light... and the sponges they are in are submerged.

Well, thats good to know. :)

You still don't have to attack people.

There's ways to say things with tact.

with that said:

"ive never used an aerogarden, any advice would help."

Cutting holes in the sponges would still be a good idea if you haven't already.

If you already know how you want to grow your clones, its pretty easy to disregard what someone else says and just move on.
