i'm at about 500 right now. or 2 really nice bongs. i usually buy a new bong every 6 months, plus a couple spoons. i have at least 1000 dollars worth of pieces on my shelf. if i can only make my own pieces i think i'll still end up- ahead in the end. it may take a few years but it will eventually pay itself off.

thats pretty impressive,i got bout $300 worth of smoking equipment,7bowls,1 bubbler,1 12in bong,and 1 9in hookah.

ive been buying a new bowl at least once a month now,glass is addicting

ive spent about 2 and a half grand on peices with my girlfriend...she likes glass..
i intend on learning how to blow glass myself, or atleast conjoin peices together and order tubes to make my own bongs via lathe..be able to fix broken beakers and stuff. that's my goal.

FDD what gasses are you using and are you using an internal or external mix?

i'm using propane and oxygen on a surface mixed torch. i just made a bunch of turtles. they are cooling. i'll get some pics up shortly.

Surfaced mix is much quieter...Get busy with the turtles.

Nice thread always been wanting to get into glass blowing and now you have inspired me to take incentive and start working with it a little. Good luck to you and some to me cause I'll need it. lol
