i look at pics and he looks like an old dog. he lived an awsome life. he was super loved everywhere he went. he was one of those pits that make the whole breed look better. fck fck fck fck i miss im

anyone have pics of there pets they want to share?

i looked him directly in his eye as he left this world. and ive seen people pass, and i was waiting for his pupils to finally dialate and it never happened, i didnt notice the moment when he passed i just knew because the dr listened to his heart and called it. but i could see myself in his eyes reflection, his tounge was hanging out and i actually feel better knowing as he left he was looking right at me. i talked to him as he went i said i love you buddy go to sleep. ill be there eventually. but you know i lost my best friend in this world a year ago in may, and i have to beleive that the 2 of them are up there now looking down on me happy

hey big, your dog is absolutly awsomely bad ass. what a beutiful dog. the face has such similarities to my ricky (jockos nickname was ricky) my dog answered to ricky, just the same as he answered to jocko.
for some reason my dogs all get the nickname ricky
i told my son, i said hey junior there will never be another jocko, but there will damd sure be another ricky.

Thank you very much. You'll be like George foreman's family. They all have the name George but go by other nicknames. lol

man i have got to say thank you guys sooo much for the support during one of the most painful times ever in my life for me. scoobs you dogs are so fucking awsome i want a blue pit , but you know what suks now? it sucks that you have the dog i want if i cant have him , the perfect blue pit, then i dont want one...just kiddin but i envy you bro. id love that sucka sooo much. and the 1st pit goes without saying. awsome man. i cant wait to get another dog, but i can. ya know what im saying? dubb, same goes. absolutly beutiful. awsome great dog/s, man i miss ny dog....big you are a wonderful person, enjoy your beutiful dog. thank you everyone. your more than nice and cool words of encouragement helped me get through a real bad time. thanks guys. and if ever this tuff becomes no big deal. id want to meet and hang with all of yas.

My bro had a dog who became really attached to me when he moved in with me.Little lab mix, she had the heart of a lion, backed down two large rotts that were gonna take me on a gravel road.When she came to my house, we thought she'd die, because she had been attacked by two wild pits when she was chained, and got a horrible infection in the bites.Slowly, she made it and lived about 3 more years,dying of cancer at 13.She waited until my niece came home to die,because that was her "baby".She really took a liking to me, too.She was a woman's dog.Anyway, after she died, I swear, for the longest time, I could still "feel" her around every once in a while.They still love you,I like to think, even though they've moved on.:hug:

Yeah Abpt gotta be the most loyal dog there is like i say there second to none its just ashamed that they got such a bad rep with this BSL bullshit like the other week this womens kid was petting my dog and then she asked oh what kind is he as soon as she heard pittbull she picked up the kid and kinda jogged away.
Anyways at least you gave him a nice long life which im sure he enjoyed everyday with their happy personality and i just want to know when he got happy did his whole back end wag lol never seen another breed do that when they see you come home looks so funny

Dude, I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. It's bumming me out thinking about it! Just hang in there and be glad you got to spend as much time with him as you did. Mourn the death, but celebrate the life.

I personally have three dogs...well two. The ex has one of them now. But I dread the day when I have to do that. Mine aren't Pit's, but I love that breed! My buddy has a blue nose named "Benzo Lorenzo de Bleu", he is such an awesome dog. I have a minpin named Charlie Murphy, a boston terrier/beagle mix named Mr. Belveder, and a yorkie named Grism (the ex has him now). Here are a couple of photog's to hopefuly cheer you up a little.

You're right, they can be a little fiesty sometimes. But mine is cool, he's not like most other minpins. He just likes to be pet a lot and wants to know everyone. He's my man!

lol min pins rule. i alsways wanted one and i want to call it snoop. hell be the littlest bad ass around. thanks man though i appreciate the support . man did it hurt. but i looked him right in the eye and rubbed his face while holding his snout. he looked at me i kissed him goodbye, then i cried harder than ive ever cried. man it came out. i had this dog 16 long wonderful years but now the memories that come im starting to get a laugh about. all i could think before was i fucked up and i wanted him back, but hes in a way better place. i couldve kept him alive another few months maybe a year, but i didnt want to see the day he couldnt get up.

No problem man. I'd like to think of us as family around here, and when one of us is hurting we're all hurting. I hope all is well, and the healing process continues to go well.
