There is a right & a wrong way to do what you did. Go to growweedeasy.com. Look up defoilation, there you will find the right way that you should do it , it that is what you chose to do. It is done slowly & precisely.

no, but it will double your pubic hair.
While I would agree that you end up with double the pubic hair if only done once, if done consistently I will gain more girth, its science, so dont tell me about shaving my balls when you have never shaved my balls nor have you any first hand accounts about the girth I gained from shaving my balls, its not like it just looks bigger, ever heard of apical dominance?

Oh, It's his plant and it worked so why is everyone dissing him if he got good results? Especially the newbies!

You can definitely tell who has bud n who doesnt, a lot of people are way to sensitive today, carry on trying to learn something new from the 3,456th defoliation thread, when ur done here you can move to the 8,732nd flushing thread, after that everyone will be pros. Not like there has been 1 new thing mentioned in this thread that hasnt been in the other 3,455 threads on the same topic, other than the discussion about my balls. Hey Chuck, I just checked and apparently it has gotten smaller and it just looks bigger, whodathunk

go add up the power they used to veg those back to health. It doesn't compute in my book. Like I said, eat the whole box of cereal before you get the prize, or stick your hand in there and grab it. I know My way, I already broke the toy before you even get to play with it.

Asking what the proper way is would be like asking a 100 people what their favorite song is. You would get many different answers. All answers having one thing in common...somebodies favorite. I have yet to see any botany and biology ever associated with defoiliation.

I'd be interested to see how the yields would have changed had you simply topped and fimmed and scrogged and lst'd from the start, instead of chopping it down and having to give it a further 2 weeks to get back to a flower ready state.

I would not personally call this defoliation, more just extreme training prior to flowering. Your pictures show that upon flowering time, the plant was ANYTHING but defoliated. There may indeed be a specific definition of defoliation, but to me, unless it's being done in flower, then it is nothing mroe than a form of training, similar to what most of us do, be is lollipopping, topping, etc, but we wouldn't call it defoliating.
