i hear you on the heat m8.. i went to an outdoor concert last night.. it must have been 100 degrees under the roof with no air movement at all, on top of about 90% HUmidity..
the most fun i had all night was playing in the sprinkler.. felt like i was going to pass out the rest of the night..

It was 106 yesterday over here in TX. Some rain came in for about 2 mins (weird). Too bad I missed my chance to have a rare rain dance.

i agree. fuck heat and fuck humidity. we get that shit sometimes but at least it's only for a few days every couple of weeks and not all summer. the problem with this of course is that when the heat does come we're not really used to it, and then when we do get used to it it's back to the 70s and suddenly we're shivering.
the upside is when someone who is visiting from florida tags along on a trip to the beach and goes diving into the water only to realize that despite 98 degree weather the water temp is about 3 degrees above freezing*. that is priceless.
*this is sarcasm. water temps are actually around 60 degrees. it feels damn cold, though.

lol, my gf lives in maine and i know the water in the ocean by her house stays in like the 60s or so all summer long.. brr is all i can say, lol..
it's really nice up there in the summers, all one month of it, i just can't deal with all the snow and the damn cold ass winters that seem to last for like 10 months of the year up that way..

Got family with a camp in northern Maine on a spring fed pond that never get's over 68 degrees. Great fishing but, major shrinkage during skinny dipping!

not only that, but the "beaches" up there leave a lot to the imagination.. where she's at the town is right on the ocean and they have a super small beach, but it's not very sandy and has tons or small rocks and shit...
i guess i'm just used to the jersey beaches where you have to walk for like half an hour to get to the water some of the beaches are so wide here..

lol, yah, the first time i was up there i kept seeing all of these big metal things in people's front yards and shit, so i asked my gf wtf they were and she explained to me that they're lobster traps, lol...
she did get some of the best, freshest lobster i have every tasted, and best of all, the prices up there are crazy cheap for lobster as well..

Yeah 3.88 a pound right now. But. if you go to the wharfs when the lobsterman come in they are 5 bucks a piece for their big ones. Cash money works up here.
