I love heat.

Heat=Life.

Cold=Death.

It's physics.

Look into it sometime.
:fire:
yah, i see a lot of life on the face of the sun johhny, lol...i kid, i kid, i just don't deal well with all this heat, don't like the cold much either, i like those 4 days in between where it's in the high 60s or low 70s

Eskimos? I would rather have cold than 106. Probably why i'm still in Maine. And of course when it's 25 below it's a DRY cold! lol

Look at this this way....

Too hot?

Find shade. Shed some clothes. Drink water.

Deplete energy.

Too cold?

No extra clothes? No food for energy? No wood for a fire?

Now you have to find energy, or die.

Or become cold yourself.

In other words, you're fucked if you cannot find a heat source.

Desert? Frozen tundra? Water in the desert? Bet I would survive longer in the cold than you would in the heat. Gotta have water dude! Can't drink sand!

Nope.

Physics.

Heat=energy.

Cold=absence of energy.

Energy wins.

Too much heat? Shed some energy.

Too much cold? Find some energy.

Which is easier?

Physics, Dude.

Yup, true dat. It's easier to me to find warmth when it's cold instead trying to get cooled off. I mean serio, you can get naked and stand in the shade, and still be hot. :lol:

the heat changes my appetite. i don't/can't eat. i shed 15 lbs normaly in summer. i drink 4 gallons of gatorade a day. u get used to it. then when it cools down (hahaha) to 85 u feel cold. the heat kills but it feels good on my old back. cold locks it up and hurts.

heat kills an average of 688 americans each year and hypothermia kills only 647. i know this to be irrefutable fact because i got it from cracked.com.

to be serious for a moment, i think it's relative to the area. i think northern states are more likely to die from the heat because of not being used to that and the general unpreparedness that results.

that being said, i'd rather have to put on some layers. you can't strip beyond your skin and if you're still hot you're going to die a horrible death. at least with the cold you can get drunk and at least feel warm while you die.

Great way to put it. Also, if it's too cold to survive, you can build a fire. I would think that is easier then building an oasis in the desert. I dunno......jus' sayin' is all....

Too true, what good stoner would be caught out in the wilderness without their lighter, pipe, and something to burn ;)

I know just what your saying their we get three months of nice weather from june-august every other time you need a sweater frost comes before october usally. where I live we had snow towards the end of october last year thats why I almost want to move to northern calli plus them 99 plant med crops but your practically giving it away in calli unless you brought it to new england or anywhere on the east side.
lol, my gf lives in maine and i know the water in the ocean by her house stays in like the 60s or so all summer long.. brr is all i can say, lol..

it's really nice up there in the summers, all one month of it, i just can't deal with all the snow and the damn cold ass winters that seem to last for like 10 months of the year up that way..

a heat source is no harder than gathering sticks for a fire and you warm up a bit just gathering wood I have a wood stove in a two story house and I need to open windows cause it gets well over 80 degrees in here upstairs and over 100 down stairs the thermostat goes to 90 but the needle is cranked right past it
