My god, you sound like a pompous ass! So, you grow legally. You have your medical card but when someone mentioned that it is still a crime federally, you totally ignored it. You ignore that you are putting your neighbors at risk even though you are growing an illegal plant. There are people who rip off grow ops and have gotten the wrong house but you do not care about anyone else. There is more probability to that than the state seizing the parents house, because of a few plants in his bedroom in a "computer case". Have you ever smoked a joint with a friend, even someone with a medical card? On the other hand, do you have any friends? Well if you have then you have broken the law too and disrespected the people who follow the law. When you share your smoke with someone, even if they have there medical card, you are supplying which is illegal too. So get off your high horse.
He came here asking a question and you go off telling him what is right and wrong. In addition, to you, what is wrong is he is not doing it like you. The story of feds seizing a family's $100K+ property for their minor's little grow cabinet would probably make national news. If the kid is growing and selling illegally using his parents house, then I agree it would be unacceptable behavior. But the #1 rule of growing is NEVER TELL ANYONE about your grow room. So if the kid grows his plants in his room for his own consumption, and keeps the grow-op a secret, I can't see why that would be more disrespectful than smoking MJ. Shout out to the parents for letting him take the plant.

I don't see what the big deal is. The kid grew in his parents house. Obviously for personal use, with friends w/e. He didn't have a grow op.
No cops would have came barging in. Even if they did, they would laugh and stomp them.
