I'll say it was the low humidity coupled with high temps that stunted them, but I still love the look of them.

Planning on doing the first top dressing on week four from seed. Below are the current dry amendments I have available.

Too much? Too little? Willing to listen to all reasonable opinions.
Didn't use any guano yesterday.

I also bought a bag of Dr. Earth Pot Of Gold by mistake.

As you can see it looks almost exactly like the premium gold fertilizer.... It was marked down to $2.99 though, so it wasn't a terrible mistake.

After speaking with my friend who houses the plants and mainly only waters the girls, I've been told she wasn't following the watering regimen I asked her to follow. Supposedly she's been watering them daily, even after the heavy drench I did after the topping...

I'm embarrassed to post the picture she sent me... but here is one that I took Friday evening before the top dress. I'm starting to believe she's been giving too much water for the past couple weeks.

I say over watered because of the yellowing along the serrated parts of the leaf edges shown in every picture but the one from day 21.

Edit: I've added photos for comparison, including the one I was sent today.

Starting Thursday I will start using distilled water for the humidifier. The photos of the plants from last week highlighted the lime buildup on the plants, but it's also on other things in the tent e.g. twine used for hanging things, carbon filter flange etc.

Edit: Other things I could do to battle the mineral buildup is use humidifier conditioner or demineralizing powder/tablets. I'll be going with whichever option is the most cost efficient. I'll leave the results here soon.

I will also lower the main fan in the coming days so that it blows air over the girls and help keep them cool and strengthen their stems according to what I've read here.

My GGXLAs didn't survive the light stress I put on them. One of the plants that did survive was a GGA and it looks like a male to me.

If so I'll actually be happy considering.

My expectations were low and still I couldn't achieve that. :|

Lowered my lights too low and caused light burn, to add insult to injury the watering schedule was not dialed in correctly after the seedling stage.

Not giving up though. I really want to uproot these girls and try again using these new auto seeds from North Atlantic Seeds, but I also feel I should see this through.

These are my remaining plants babies.

Bottom left is for sure a male... not sure if that's the same one you already identified but unless you want seeds you need to get it out of there ASAP.

Bro Don't Feel Bad...See this through..Check out my journal

I failed and started all over so 3 of my plants that should be a month in a half are only 2 weeks old because I got root rot in hydro and switched to dirt...basically wasting 30 days of time and electricity!!! Each grow is a learning experience...so take it for what it is...
You certainly got some nutrient issues...that could be cause by a lot of things...but a primary culpret is too wet or too dry soil. Too wet and the roots rot and can't uptake nutrients to dry and the nutrient levels build up and burn the plant.
Light damage is most notable at the very top of the plant where the tips will start to bleach and then burn. Get that male plant out of there and spray it with water just in case. Finish this and don't repeat the same mistakes next time.

Oh yes, get that male out of there, good luck...
Yes it's the same one. I thought of tossing it, but since this run more than likely won't yield me anything worth boasting about I guess I'll take the seeds for future practice runs.
Thanks.

Read most of the post there, good job. You're definitely giving it your all and brought those back from the brinks of death.

Get some feminized photoperiod seeds. These autos are too finicky for noobs.
Autos are so fucking unforgivable..... I'm about a half step ahead of you, already putting together a 4x4 photo tent to go along with my auto tent.Should be up and running come Tuesday.

Ok, so here is the ending of the shit show I didn't see coming. ( I honestly really didn't see it ending this badly)

March, 12th @ 8:21pm: Week 7 and 5 days since planted
PXL_20210313_022116971.jpg
This is the last time I seen them and thought to myself "I could still make it to some sort of harvest". (even if just to collect a couple seeds)

The following week I didn't make it to do any kind of training or watering, so I just phoned my friend to make sure they were watered in my absence. All was well, at least that's what I was told.

March, 21st @ 9:45pm: Week 9
Received these blurry pictures through text.
IMG_20210501_224914.jpgIMG_20210501_224911.jpgIMG_20210501_224916.jpgIMG_20210501_224917.jpg
Gut wrenching.:spew:
At this point I've completely giving up on the plants but my friend informed me they were still taking care of the plants and that "they still looked good"....I come over a week later from the date posted and everything is dry, brown, and crispy.

"What happened within those nine days?" Is what I kept asking myself....

A little time had passed and I had plenty more seeds so I cleaned up and got ready for another attempt.

Germinated a couple seeds at home, came over to the tent and dropped them into some peat cups(?) Instead of placing them directly in their 5 gallon homes. Really it was to try and get a better handle on watering.
PXL_20210403_002519611.jpg

Asked that same friend to be sure to spray the soil to keep it moist. According to the camera they weren't watered once and these also died out.
