I never saw this thread. You caught that with the original Gitzit?
How do those things work??
that fish was caught on the 8 inch swimbait hanging out of her mouth. ;)

the reports tell me the fish are holding in 17 - 20 feet of water. i'm waiting for my new fish finder to arrive. i'm gonna go find them and drop a gitzit on their head.

I'll be darned. I see it know.
I am blind in one eye and I cant see out of the other so I missed the 8 inch swimbait.
Hell you need some tora tubes and 10 inch gitzits. I didnt know you were that "experianced" We call those swimbaits as well.

Well give me a report on how you liked those when you get a chance so I can inform those folks I stole them from. :hump: They love feedback for some odd reason.

The company is a more of a hobby. It has lost money for umpteen years. Probaly be closed down soon in which there will be a fire sale. I may be able to keep the spincaster that makes all the lead weights and thousands of other things.

The entire operation is for sale and it needs to be run mom and pop style, in an existing garage, sell on ebay, swap meets and be a big shot at the fishing tournements. It has a well established name, Garry & Bobby invented it, etc. At one time in the 80s when Wal mart sold American, they employeed over 100 people in tumbleweed AZ.

Tons and tons of stock. all the hotpots, etc.

I very mmuch wish I had ur boat FDD.
thanks. :)

i can't believe someone was "done" with this boat. with a few dollars and a couple hours labor here and there the thing is gonna be as good as new. the guy i bought it from bought a newer one for 12k or some silly shit. in the end it's all the same boat. it's just a floating thing to fish from. ;)

I was working in a pet shop when I was about ten and a guy walks in and tells the owner he has a litter of bobcat kittens and how would she like some. He said at the time that he believed them to be a cross and seeing as how it was fifty years ago I can't say why he knew that but I ended up with one and raised it to old age. That was one fucking bad ass cat. Dogs used to cross the street when they walked by my house and that's the gods honest truth. Looked exactly like your kitten there and only a bit more meat. Bobby was one lean mean fightin machine though. This is prolly an old thread but I have enjoyed reading it as it brings back many fond memories of Berryessa and sturgeon fishing out of Benicia. Stripers on the Delta Ohhhhhhhh BABY!!

Hope the boat thing works out for ya. I had mine in the water 4 days (and nights) A week. You don't know the meaning of the word excitement untill you reach over the gunwales to pull aboard a eighty pound sturgeon in the middle of the night with a ripping current on the carquenez straights in the mothball fleet. Hope you have as much fun as I did. Good luck and tight lines

looks good fdd.............
thanks. :)

my mechanic told me not to mess with any of this stuff. he said for the time it would take to do all this it would be easier to just buy a nicer boat. he told me to run it into the ground and trade up. i want to stop by and show it to him now.
