It may not be read or have even mattered at all, but I can't help myself. When someone says something that dumb, I just have to try and tear them down. Isn't that why everybody who isn't looking for growing knowledge joined this site?

People. Marijuana is not a teratogen. It's the opposite of it in fact. Marijuana is antiteratosic. It prevents birth defects. It protects fetuses.

I don't think any smoke in your body is good for developing lungs. I definitely wouldn't smoke or be around smoke if I were pregnant. I hope you don't bring the child around people who smoke, I can't breathe well at all, probably because I grew up around a lot of cigarette smokers.

Smoke is never good for lungs. Make yourself some bud brownies. That'd be indulgent in so many ways!

Cigarettes and Marijuana are very different when talking about toxicity of smoke. Cigarettes are the worst and it's what's in the smoke that affects the unborn, smoke itself doesn't harm a fetus, it's the chemicals absorbed through the lungs of the mother that do. Cannabinoids have been proven over and over again unharmful at any doses.

Sorry to say, but this article IS wrong. Every woman I know that smoke MJ while pregnant had kids well above average, bordering on superhuman babies.

agreed its a growing site........but many of us have become close and are friends and have fun together cry together and kinda like a family fuss at each other...........we are in TOKE N TALK.....so its not really about growing in here now is it..............there are tons of threads on this site to grow....to do politics.....its not all about growing................but in here meaning Toke n Talk its about being buzzed and shareing with others..............but I could be wrong........this is just how I see it and Im warped so take it with a grain of salt.

It's a fact that whatever stress you are going through mentally & physically during pregnancy, has a direct effect on the developing brain of your child. If a little weed is going to relieve you of such stress, you are doing the right thing. It's your motherly instinct taking over. To hell with what other people have to say about it. It would probably be better to remove the things that are causing the stress, but that's not always an option. The vape does sound like a better idea. Or edibles.
