Hydronutes In Soil

Can i get away with using my hydro nutes for my mother that i have started in soil?
Is there a difference between the hydro and soil nutes?
Local hydro shop said canna supplied him with all hydro range instead of 1 hydro range and 1 soil range. On phoning them about the order the lady told him that they were the same just different labels.
So i guess if i was using canna it would be ok, but i am using ionic. Do you reckon it would be the same across the board? i.e every manufacturers hydro and soil are they same mix of nutes.
Any info on this would be much appreciated.

Good question. Ive been getting away with using soil nutes in my hydro. The other way around. But my plants in the bubbler are doing fine. Im using FoxFarm though. Now that I have both kinds Im gonna test the hydro GrowBig on my soil plants. Im too far into this grow to do it now though. On the next go round.

I use GH nutes and on the back lable says[ideal for all hydroponic applications and as a nutrient supplement for potted plants}.So I say yes they are good to use in soil.I have been using them for a long time now.I just dont use them at the rate you would in hydro.About 1/2 strenght in soil.I learned that the hard way.Dose that help any. PEACE

Hydro nutes are good for soil, in fact I think its best to go with hydro nutes for soil because they contain every nutrient that the plant needs to survive, since there is no dirt in hydro.
