Hydro Organics vs. Hydro Synthetics

You know what's funny? You're a product of the green movement and have been brainwashed to think that there is some sort of difference between organic and synthetic. To the plant, they are EXACTLY the same. Salts are salts, read a book, educate yourself, then people will take you seriously.

wrong. You have been brainwashed into thinking their isnt a difference, just so you can sleep at night.

Do your self a favour and pick up a book maybe something in the chemistry department. Educate yourself then, maybe you wont be laughed at when you post on ADULT forums.:wall:
Just a thought

anybody ever do hydro organics? how was your ph struggle. I was all into the organic soil way. Very fun. Then i wanted to do some hydro. I dont sell. But PH is my worry with hydro. If the PH is not ok all the time the plants go BYE BYE in all kinds of ways. With all the bacteria and fungi that organics involve the ph will swing. However I am hoping to also have some organic buckets if I can get that undercontrol. Maybe a nice balance of fungi and bacteria to keep in check. But is organic hydro really going to work? I mean in soil the micro organisms breal down the bone blood kelp etc and in hydro can that happen right with it all just sitting in soup? I guess it can. I used some batguano and pbp in a bucket and i got some fun stuff. It even turned into a compost tea and I had to worry about burns. What are you all using and how if you are successful in hydro organcis. For today my def of hydro health is a proper ph.
a swing in PH in hydro is good, when ever i top off my rez with nutes when growing hydro I PH it 5.5 and let it swing to 6.0 - 6.5. it most of the time only swings to around 6.1, anyways you want it to swing a little because at differnt PH levels the plants absorbe certin nutes and micro nutes better.

I dont have to Adjust pH or the EC with Organics. Organics DOES NOT HAVE EC EITHER BECAUSE IT DOESNT RUN AND USE METALLIC SALT THE SAME AS SYNTHETICS!

There are NO crazy charged ionized metallic salts in organics. YOU ALL NEED TO PICK UP A BOOK. They got you all thinking that its the same just to sell nutrients. Or you are too proud to admit you are wrong.

If there is no difference, then why is there a definite difference in sugar, amino acid and terpenes in Organic Hydro vs. Synthetic Hyrdo vs Soil-Based fertilizers vs Organic Soil grown produce? I am a well seasoned chef and there is a huge difference and I have eaten them all, a million times over.

well botanicare sucks for ph. sorry dude.

however I asked what you use. I have read and well versed in organics and its soil use. However I have not tried a real organic "soup" yet of say blood bone and kelp with baceteria and fungi in a bucket. That might work or be a joke. Lots of variables. I shud try and I will when I get a garage and not my apt. But the hydro organic nutes suck for my needs. I was disapointed. Botanicare held ph stable for a day. Gh keeps it forever. and ever. and ever.

I've grown organic hydro. I had some crazy ph swings for a minute there, but I was also working with new products (citric acid for ph down) and I never changed my rez or flushed or anything. General Hydroponics has an organic line called General Organics. I used the plain grow formula throughout the whole grow and I got pretty good results. I'll definitely be refining it so I won't have as many difficulties this next grow, but it almost feels like the findings of organic hydroponic growers mostly get overlooked. The hydro section really needs an organic section so that people can get this stuff down.

And I doubt that a plant looks at organics and synthetics all the same. Originally they thought NPK were all a plant needed; Now it is known (although not recognized by the USDA) that plants grown organically produce more polyphenols (which is beneficial to the health of the plant, and even to the consumers [eaters, not smokers] of the plant). If the plants looks at ferts all the same, then why are the chemical compositions of synthetic and organic different?

I am using the soul Synthetics line from Roots Organics. And that stuff is the shit! I mean i think the issues are the same as growing organically in hydro. You get different bacteria's in your Res. Most of them are going to be Probiotic(good), I thought a lot of my issues with algae and such were bad but the slimes and sludges I am getting in my res are great proboitic bacterias that help the plants with growth and health. I can guess that you would have the same things in an organic set up. But your not getting the small trace minerals that the synthetics have. That could be why they don't pop in the microwave. Not for sure here just taking an educated guess from my experience.

you need those trace minerals. Hopefully you water from the city has some. Cal and mag. He is worried about the salts like the NPk compounds come as. However I have no comment except to say that the astronauts we all know choose the gh three part for their edibles so they must know something. :)

They know some things sure, but i guarantee the volumes of things they dont know vastly outweigh what they do know. As if god created heaven, earth, water, and N-P-K. What a joke. you people are the source of your own limited knowledge. fools. go organic and stay organic or stop growing and smoking weed, otherwise you are a blatant hypocrite. capitalist super synthetic nutes go completely against the philosophy of smoking weed to begin with. Marijuana does not HELP with mathematical scores geniuses.

botanicare isnt organic, its organic based. and pH fluctuation is fine and natural.
