dillweed I know EXACTLY what you mean, just the other day I was over my sisters and mentioned to her that my tomatoes were almost ready, and her husband was like what? and she said his hydroponic tomatoes are ready and inside I was just like oh my god its not hydro, but I didnt correct her I just let it go and let her believe she will be buying some really good hydro haha.

if you made a "dro" strain i think the grow community would take a gangbang booboo on you for dissn the weed... otherwise it woulda been done already...

i try not to correct anyone about herb shit... mostly because i dont want them to think I know shit about it... gotta stay off the radar - sometimes i have to listen to them babble for ages about BS that i know 100% is untrue...

but maybe they just have never been shown the light and your the person that could of saved there day... weather or not they listen at the correct info is intirarlyup to them, or if it starts going some were that it shouldn't then just click away,but always always shed the truth to the young and up comeing new growers..

You brought up a good point here. My friend brings over a gram and he is a rookie. He tells me he has some good hydro bud. I asked if it was any good and he told me it was hydro. I told him big deal about it growing without soil but is the weed of a specific kind like kush or something.

Same terminology is used in my parts also. I don't usually mind it as I know they simply mean well grown/high quality weed of an unknown strain. What is annoying is when people around here down talk "home-grown" as something far below "dro", which is just crazy because I don't know where the hell they think "dro" is grown. Not to mention many little person grows put out some of the best quality bud just because the grower can focus on a 8x8 room instead of a giant field outside. Their ignorance though not yours so try not to let it bother you much is my general approach.
