Humidity/air flow question

Hello all, I’m attempting a closet grow....dimensions are 2’x6’ and ceiling is 8’. I have a 6” exhaust fan vented out through the ceiling into the attic. Currently don’t have any active intake but I’m opening the door often and there is a crack under the door that allow some airflow.
My issue at the moment is my humidity levels are very low....like 26-32%. I have a good size humidifier in the closet but the exhaust fan seems to just suck everything out. My plants are in early flowering, so I’m thinking the lower humidity isn’t as much of a problem. But I also worry that with levels so low, the plants won’t be able to fully do their thing.
I can turn the exhaust fan off and raise the humidity immediately, but then all I have is a fan blowing lightly. I’m hoping someone can chime in and set me straight. This is my first indoor grow and first time with autos. They are super skunk autos, in FFOF, under 320W LED. I’ve made some mistakes and the plants are progressing, but I know my conditions could be improved. 7B7AE94F-DD2D-414E-AECA-6484D7917948.jpeg78F1FD51-356D-49B3-A0E9-68DC73B51BB7.jpeg7B7AE94F-DD2D-414E-AECA-6484D7917948.jpeg78F1FD51-356D-49B3-A0E9-68DC73B51BB7.jpeg7B7AE94F-DD2D-414E-AECA-6484D7917948.jpeg78F1FD51-356D-49B3-A0E9-68DC73B51BB7.jpeg

Spray water them, or put there a bucket with water, indoor is not my game, but low RH never was a scary concern to me, even less in flowering. I know there are all kind of tools/tricks, so hope someone with experience chime in

Passive intake area size should be at least twice the exhaust size.
Humidify the area that air is drawn from.
What dis guy said
Doesn’t sound like you have a fan with an adjustable speed control, but if ya did, you’d also likely be able to control humidity better by lowering the fan speed

I have a humidifier running on high constantly and it barely moves the meter while my exhaust fan is running. I hope it’s not a problem for flowering, but I know seedlings and vegging is gonna require quite a bit more RH than 28-30.
I have a minimal understanding of the airflow that’s needed...so I don’t know if simply turning off the exhaust and only running the oscillating fan, also bringing the RH up, is better or worse than things are currently.

When u say passive intake area, do you mean the room where it is getting “outside” air or a fan device?
The only place where any air can penetrate the closet is underneath the door. There’s no feasible way to open up a route to get air into the closet. I suppose I could leave the door slightly ajar when my lights are on.
The closet is in my office, which is a separate small building behind my house. I want to be somewhat discreet. I could possibly drill a few holes in certain places to let air into the closet. Of course, being a new grower I open the door and stare aimlessly at them all the time. I know it’s impossible to have everything perfect but if I can control something to make conditions better I’m willing to try

Get a better humidifier.
The one I have puts out a ton of steam....goes through a gal of water in 12-13 hours. The exhaust fan seems to be sucking it out instantly.
I think my wife has 2 others stored somewhere....I could run 2....or 3.

What he said is that you need to have a 2x size hole for the air gettin inside (intake) than the size of the hole that spit the air outside (exhaust), and put close to the hole that suck air to the inside (intake) your humidifier. And if I read/undertand right (Im high as a kite), you are growing in a closset and you use the doors as pasive air intake... idk, as I said indoor is not my game, but I will have holes for intake/exhaust air for sure.

peace
