I got a nice humidifier but it won't turn on automatically when powered on, so I can't automate it. So I need one that regulates humidity by % itself... or one that'll work with an Inkbird I guess.

I believe the inkbird only provides power under whatever conditions you set it to so you'll need a humidifier like the one shown below.
No need to power it on as long as it has water and a power source.

Used it with my Inkbird, now it's on my AC-Infinity outlet. Perfect size for a tent, hard wired switch and it has a lights off mode so it won't bother plants in flower.

Go for a top fill type and use only ro, distilled, or good clean treated rainwater to avoid mineral deposits everywhere...including the charcoal filter. Manual adjustment knob set to desired mist rate and let the inkbird do the rest
