I love HTG but I hate them, I guess its a love hate thing so anyway, I orderd to bulbs from them for 30 bucks each they instead gave me two upgrade bulbs since they were sold out of the other ones that they sell for 80 bucks, and I was like yay free upgraded twice price bulbs, but the package wa kind of squished, and the bulb had smudge marks all over it, oh well clean them off with a dry rag and screw them in, neither one of these bulbs works!!! wtf man!!! I'mm pissed, one of my bulbs is like 3 months old and is half as bringht as the one month old, I really needed this bulb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:evil::evil::evil:

hmm they are only 2 hours away, maybe it is time to pay them a visit :P
itll only cost 30 bucks in tolls and gas :P
but what the fuck man they cant check the bulbs before hand? dosnt it just cost them more money to not do that first?!
it just seems like bad salesmen-ship

Aww man, that blows! I got the 2 bulb uprade as well...but both mine worked beautifully :mrgreen: Must be livin' right!

Got the lighter and sticker too....now if Doc Chronics pack shows up, it will be a week to remember.

why is it half the people that order thru HTG either get great service or totally screwed? seems like there's no in-between. i don't think it's a good thing to gamble with 50/50 odds.

I think I'm one of the inbetween they totaly screwed me a few times but helped me out and saved me alot of time and money a few times, but that seems to be happening less and less, I should have wuit while I was ahead, but knowing me I probably still havnt learned my lesson and will be tempted by their low prices again at some time in the near future, and I'll probably be pissed but than I learn a lesson in morality in the end so things will work out?

I called as I do every time I have a problem and they are always really nice and helpful even if I call 15 times in 30 minutes :P but today the guy seemed kind of annoyed and blaish, it was annoying but I felt like I had to go with it or suffer lightbulblessnes!!!!!!

I was actually a little miffed when I got one package without the shitty free lighter that tears up the skin on my thumb...... I was happy when I finally found it under the 8 tons of packing peanuts :mrgreen:

Haha! :mrgreen: I've never had a mistake through HTG...only ordered 5 seperate times though.

HOWEVER, and this is still cracking me up after reading your quote, I received a box today from another hydro shop in Cali (was just checking their reliability vs. HTG)...won't name them here, but anyhow, I had ordered a PowerGrower Eco, and an extra Waterfarm kit so I could piece one together.

I open the box and the stoner pack guy had just grabbed a case of 10 (ten!) waterfarm kits and sent them my way. :blsmoke: Guess someone wants me to do hydro bad!

Ya know thats a damm good question,if i was involved with htg its a question i'd be getting to the bottom of,i have my suspicions that the shit service revolves mostly around the shipping carrier.

Ive found out from shipping about a thousand expensive & fragile items that when dealing with fedex or ups what "HUB" the packages go through can make a world of difference.

It makes some small bit of sense if you think about it,packages with a destination to the lower half of the USA go through one hub & packages with destinations to the upper half go through a different hub,different people handeling the packages at each seperate hub.

Im not saying this is the case but it fits the 50/50 dilema.

ya seems these people are very concerned about wraping up thier packages very well for packing but maybe the whole time it was the damn dirty shippers!

but plus if they always correct the problem if one comes up i guess its cool if your not in a big rush to take the chance cuz they do got ok prices


but i dont get the whole sticker thing last thing i need is a sticker to advertise my dirty little secret I always cratch off the HTG SUPPLY logo off the precious lighter

do people really give 2 shits about the damn lighter? i can grab one of those for 69 cents at any liquor store. all i hear is "I got my lighter." wtf? how much that lighter cost ya?

i only buy local now. i've learned my lesson. something wrong? i jump in my truck and drive right back. :)

they are excited they got something free.
and HTG is excited someone spent $100's of dollars with them and all they had to do to make them happy was give them a PoS lighter.

Ive havent used HTG yet but i am buying something from them before the end of the summer. maybe i should request they keep their damn lighter. lol.
