wondering what kind of glasses you use for your HPS lighting room? Are the method seven worth it? Found them for $145 on amazon, https://amzn.to/3l1eBug
seems steep but feeling the need to protect my eyes. would rather spend the money once than waste a bunch on the cheapies. any thoughts?

I use a pair of $14 ski goggles, the coverage around the top and sides is necessary, imo, couldn't be happier
thanks for the info blocking out the side light is a good point, id be concerned it wouldn't be blocking the right light tho? what kind of lens do you have?

You just need regular old "uv 400" lenses, but anything that has true polarization would be better. I've used these for ever and they do a killer job of protecting my eyes.

method 7 are nice i have one pair (hps) for years

but even with them on the nose i can't work in the room anymore
i just come in 10min before lights on

even with glasses hps damage the eyes big time, i feel it litteraly burn my retina

regular shades (good brands) work fine too. look glacier glasses

but try to automate everything so you dont need to go in/water plants etc .. during day .. my 2 cents

I used to run bare bulbs and mirrored curved shades with uv protection $5 and a cap, the last run I kept a 15w fluoro in there like mentioned above and only went in with that one, I did ask ages ago what damage the led lights can do but no one really responded, I meant skin and eyes
