HOWS MY FIRST GROW GOING?

Hi growers,

I have here my two plants that I’m currently growing which are feminised seeds of Girl Scout cookie and critical orange punch, I am trying to grow as quick as possible and this is also my first grow too,

potting soil
Temp : 22c - 23c
Humidity: 50 - 60%
Led light : 12-12
Watering every thew days
Flora micro - 1.5ml
Flora gro - 1.5ml
Flora bloom - 1.5ml

I had them in veg for 3 weeks and then I switched them over to 12 - 12 light schedule and since I did that they have grew great, they have been in 12-12 for about 3 weeks now I would say and I just wanted to see what people think.

I also still can not see sign of sex yet either. Can you? Ill attach photos below

You definitely need a new light very soon. I'm actually shocked your plants look as good as they do under that light because that style of LED light is usually very low wattage. They are very small for their age, though, and it's definitely because of that light.

Yeah that light sucks my dude.....
What brand is it maybe I’m wrong.. how much did it cost?

yeah it was only a cheap light off eBay anyways just so I could grow my own and to start off with, what do you recommend I do from here then, I was thinking about changing it for a 400w hps bulb with a reflector I have

I’ve never grown with HPS so I’m not the best person to ask. If money is a concern then HPS is usually a lot less expensive to go with.

What do people think? Should I swap to a 400w HPS with reflector from here or stick with the led light, just want to know whats going to be best for my plants from now as all I want is a smoke at the end of it

You’ll need a ballast bulb and reflector for a 400 hps ... and in that small spot you’ll need an exhaust 400s run hot and will burn your grow out ... get a mars ts , spider or hlg ..., they can slll be had for under 180$. Get a white led preferably

ps .... whats going on with that small plant?

I have a reflector with a built in ballast but I can get a 400w HPS bulb for like £20 off eBay as I’m on a budget, I just don’t know what to do from here regarding going forward in flowering, I just wanna get through flower and have some smoke

also the small plant is just an experiment which I’m doIng 12-12 from seed in solo cup and it’s going really well

Your plants are healthy but the grow isn’t really “going really well”. The plants should be much larger than that because they stretch a LOT during the first 3 weeks of flower.
THIS is a time lapse of the first 2 weeks of stretch in my tent for Purple Haze I grew over the winter.

So what can I do on a budget wise to improve the growth of my plants
