Well...the things in the first post don't fit me, but I guess I'm a liberal because...
1.I believe in a woman's right to choose.
2.I don't think rich people should get more tax breaks.
3.I believe that companies should be held accountable for their actions.
4.I don't think that gods should have anything to do with government.
5.I don't like war.
6.I believe that a public option for healthcare is a good thing.Because insurance companies have had control over who lives and who dies in this country for too long.(Death panels?We've had them for a long time.They're an integral part of the health insurance industry.)
7. In no way, shape, or form do I like Sarah Palin.
8.I think the patriot act was evil.And so was the man who was ruling our country at the time it was created.He just wasn't smart enough to be the next Hitler.
9.Ronald Reagan wasn't a good guy.
10.I'm for civil rights.
11.I'm for gay marriage.
13.Rush Limbaugh,Anne Coulter,Bill O'Reilly.

1.I believe in the right to bear arms.I do not believe in gun control.Period.
2.I'm not really for bigger government.
3.I think we should take care of our own country and people first.I think we should leave the U.N and mind our own damn business.
4.The original republican party (before it went nuts) had some great ideas.Anti slavery was one.
5.I believe in independance. Unfortunately, many democrats are all for the group mentality."Takes a village to raise a child." No, takes very little effort to mind your own damn business.

Well, I agree with some of them and of course would make some alterations.
Yah, I'm talking in the here and now, not on the timeline of differences between the two mindsets. Each new wave of political thinking is different from the one which proceeded it. The Obama fans liberal mind is not the liberal mind of a Truman follower (unfortunately for us).
