I use sunspect 300 watt led. I now use it because it draws about the same power my 6 cfls ran but way more light output.

To be honest it was the first led I bought.have you had any issues with people selling LED's that dont produce the right kind of light? ive bin scared anyways because of hearing about bullshit LED's being sold. on the other hand thats a beautiful CFL setup! i wanna build my own one day , ive always hung my cfls from extension cords ( gehhto i know ) and raise / lower them with the cord
oh lols! oh well XDTo be honest it was the first led I bought.
this is a simple tutorial with pictures of a micro bagseed grow , to show the fellow newbies how easy it is too keep your seedlings under 3 inches all the way into the second node!
well guess what! weak lights is not an excuse..... i do grows with micro 8 watt florescent tubes and 21 watt CFL lights, and my seedlings are not even 2 inches tall and already have thick stems and are on their second nodes with the first true leaves large and in charge!
how? simple , take the stems of the new born seedlings and bend them gently so they are bent straight over with the soil..... come back in a day or so when the plant has started groing upwards again and bury that length of the stem in the soil.....come back and do it again....then cut the starter leaves off and bury up too the first set of true leaves...BANG you have successfully saved your seedlings from wasting a whole foot on stem space! ....now your seedlings should grow much more bushy and stay much shorter. ive even seen a reduction in inter node length threw ought the whole veg just by doing this during the first few weeks.
You should get this info to a mod. maybe make it a sticky
NOTICE how the plants have changed spots from me burying the stems....those buried stems grow roots and become roots!
( pics of whole process attached... )
on the shoe box grow il pull about a half ounce on 2 plants , so yea about 7 grams a plant , and they are very hard to keep healthy in a box that small because of how much needs to be done to them in order to keep them small enough to be somewhat healthy. Thanks for the info, its extremely helpful for a newbie like myself. What are some of your yields? Id imagine a few grams max right?
What you find is LEDs that produce just blue and red, mixing together into a purple.have you had any issues with people selling LED's that dont produce the right kind of light?
