How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Not at all silica helps make your stems stronger and your plant hardier allowing it to take more stress and not be bothered
Yes. It makes your plants hardier...by bolstering cell strength in all parts of the plant...the stems...the leaves...calyxs and so on. That thickening of cells helps protect against pests and adds strengh against heat, but it also adds a lot of wieght, which sellers love.

It also adds more plant matter to smoke along with the resin. That plant matter tastes like shit and adds more tar to your lungs...

Any studies done on this or just personal opinion?

Its weird. I can take a plant at 90+ indoor and it stress out. Same plant outdoors will be fine. I think if they are in the ground it cools the roots. I was thinking that in my basement, with pots on the cool concrete that the temps could be run a little higher.
Yup, the ground is always moist and they get a near constant fresh breeze from all directions including trade winds/prevailing winds! I still run into pheno's that HATE our sun though no matter how many weeks they spend in the shade.

I disagree. I have used the same stuff on a few strains and not... the grows that didnt get the silica was far better imo. But to each their own...

What do you think happens when cell walls get thicker? It might not change the taste on a noticeable level for some people however, thicker stems ect = more green weight, We all know what the color green does for a plant.

And you don't believe there would more trichome production just the same amount of trichomes regardless of more leaf? So this is just opinion no study behind it? And I'm not attacking I'm actually interested and wouldn't it effect potency as well if more leaf

Dont quote me on this but im pretty sure the ground a few feet deep can be anywhere from 20-40 degrees cooler than the ambient temp.

If you've ever seen roots in water temps of 70-90 degrees indoors you know its nasty slimy bacteria fest.

Are you asking me a question? Yes the ground is generally alot colder then ambient temps depending on thermal inertia of said mass.

Its not more leaf. It is thicker cell walls throughout the entire plant. That doesnt mean there would be any more or less trichs...not enough to notice. .. Anyway...thicker means more chlorophl (green) ( no studies required. It is a fact) which is what most people like to leach out as much as possible during a good cure....

No, unless silica actually helped rid an infestation or slightly hot grow room it wont really make more trichomes not that i know of.
Thicker skin not more surface area is basically what we are saying

OK I understand that but I mean to be honest the amount of weed I smoke is about a quarter a day of top shelf me personally don't think it'll make too much of difference when it comes to it due to there being no correlation between smoking weed and lung diseases unless I've not seen something plus curing the weed gets rid of the chlorophyll if done properly right?

Well smoking a 1/4 a day you probably wouldnt notice much of a differ3nce, i guess...

Curing the weed gets rid of a lot of the chlorophl but not all of it. I guess some people are just more sensitive to it. I know thats what makes me hack... more than i usually do...lol

Better the weed than paying big Pharma to poison you

If your growing in hear humidity isn't horrible and co2 and silica is Ur best bet to make it thru it with ehh results lol and if it's at 88 unless you have like 500 cfm running thru tube it'll still put off heat and put u mid 90's
Yeh I'm using silica now and gonna sort out some kinda of CO2 system

You know of any effective budget CO2 solutions?
