The easy cloner has sprayers and the water level is below the sprayers.The only water that hits the clones is from the sprayers.Theres a thread on here on how to build a cloner for under a 100.00$ I have the power cloner 25 site and its my best buy yet..................Peace

the top of the ezcloner sits much higher than the base *res*. water level stays just under the manifold that sprays. roots, and stems are suspended inches above water level. pump sucks up oxygen and water spraying it like aero.

The system is super basic -
- 1/2" PVC pipe ($5)
- EZ Clone sprayer heads ($5)
- 300 gph pump ($20)
- rubbermaid tub ($
- 2" netpots and neoprene collars ($30)
The most expensive part of the build is going to be your timer. I've heard you can use one of the standard heavy duty timers that does 15m on/off. I spent the money on the CAP ART timer which is about $70.
It works by suspending the clones stems in the air and then every X number of minutes (whatever timer you have) the stems get sprayed/misted from the resevoir. The air inside the tub will also be more humid due to the lid. The cuttings are NOT to be in the water, and the cuttings will have no reason to develop roots since they will would have all the water they need. Your stems would also rot due to the lack of oxygen in the water. This method of cloning has an extremely high success rate - I personally would estimate 80-90% with the only strains that won't root being your PURE indicas (LA Confidential, X18 pure pakistani, etc).
