How often to feed plants in coco coir?

Ok so I just fed. I have a 2 quart watering can I use to feed and I'm mixing my solution in gallon jugs as well.

I have a tds/EC meter but it only calculates in ppm and gives you the temp.

To get ec i divide your figures by 50 so depending on the scale it's around 1.3 ec and that sounds about right.

If you feed it say 5 ltr in the morning and you get 1ltr run off then the pot has retained 4ltr.

If you go to it tonight and feed 5ltr and 4ltr runs out then the pots only required another 1ltr and the 2nd feed might not be necessary, at this particular time i mean.
