How often do you calmag?

the very tops are little bit light green from being over exposed to my light, so i moved it up the other day, but these bottom fan leaves aren't looking great. its just this strain. Light green, getting brown patches. my best guess from looking at growweedeasy.com is manganese deficiency, but i dont even know what that is.

I haven't fed anything yet. they went an extra day not watered by mistake a few days ago. but they were watered when i noticed and watered again today so they should be doing alright. No food so far, just waiting for them to get big enough to transplant into larger pots. they are in solo cups atm.

edit: also, overwatering or underwatering can cause brown spots?
 
i didnt really see brown spots looks like more of the tip of the leave to me...manganese is pretty rare , could be nitrogen deficiency if you havent fed yet

most of it is on the tips. but its all near the outside of the leaf working its way in. those leaves just so happen to be the very tips. a couple of them started a little bit more inward of the leaf. but still the same idea. They are very young, so im worried that even the slightest amount of food might accidently fry them. and even if i did decide to feed them, do i only feed the ones that could use a deeper green? Only one of my strains is yellowing/brown spotting in such a manner.
 
A picture of the full plant & of the new growth would be much better, being that's an "older" leaf.
 
I will post a picture as soon as i can. right this moment im kind of jammed between work and classes. But I am assuming for the time being that they really need to be fed. Now my biggest issue atm is, how do I feed plants that I just watered yesterday? Do I have to wait for the medium to dry out?

Yes, wait for the medium to pretty much dry out.....you don't want to "over-water" them.

No why? Don't do stuff just because someone else is doing it especially being a follower is worst. Anytime and anytime and always always know wt your reasoning and what will happen when you add something, don't just do it just to do it. Calmag is only for those who use RO systems to filter out the salt coming from your water softener. In the process of the water softener removing the calcium it's removing the calcium from your water therfore how would u give your plant calcium if u are using a water softener? Use your head that's why u ammend with calmag to add it back. That's wt I am talking about people like you doing stuff just to do it. Don't do that ever. Always know what and why you are doing it. You must always be in control of your garden not the otherwise around. If u start adding stuff because you don't know what your doing then your garden will react accordingly wt goes in must come out and u won't know wt to do because you are a novice grower who doesn't know what he's doing.

I've heard the chemistry speach a 100 times and more from people that can't grow.
I'm not saying you can't, your new here so your pictures will tell all.

I used good old tap water. When I was using chemical nutrients there was plenty of Ca and Mg in the nutrients I was using. I've been going organic lately. KNF, JADAM, making WS-Ca, WS-CaPo, FPJ, IMO, etc... So I still won't be using calmag as there is no need to buy any product when I can make all the food I need for my plants basically for free. I find it much more rewarding than purchasing some overpriced product in a bottle. But not everyone has the resources to do that so they do need to purchase commercial products. But I think calmag just ends up on people's shopping list because so many people use it unnecessarily so it's become something many use without understanding why their using it or if they even need it.
