ld 50 is 555 mg/kg for dogs orally, male rat=1270 mg/kg, female rat=730 mg/kg(kind of odd. im not too sure about this one but it is on wikipedia, i just dont see how sex would make a difference with how much it takes to kill them.) a mouse is 430mg/kg.

There are ZERO deaths attributed to marijuana over thousands of years of use. Last I read, scientists cant even establish a toxic level for we humanoids, they guess about 1/3 of your body weight smoked in 15 minutes, but you would die of smoke inhalation before you got that far. And wikipedia is not exactly the best source for information, anybody can contribute, even my 10 yo nephew. I wouldn't treat it as an actual encyclopedia with verified facts.

we are talking about eating pure thc, not smoking it. and if you look at the refrences you can see how reliable the index they got the info from is. The merck index seems pretty reliable to me....

lol i think the best way to kill yourself is by ingesting pure THC as if you smoked too much the smoke would kill you, and if you just consumed pure weed it'd take too much and you'd just throw up as your stomach would over fill, thinking about the issue i'd have to say the best way of killing your self from THC is to either drink it in a thick paste, or to chew it up and swallow it in the form of pills, (however the pill effect would be difficult as you'd probably have to eat a couple of kilos in the space of a couple of hours) either way the whitey would be immense and the death would be a horrible one lol.

I'm maybe 65kg at most.
I have read around that it is possible to die from a THC overdose through Intravenous administration, not sure if anyones tried.
It is a lot easier to compile data for accidental death, cannabis is a "how far can we push it" drug and i'm not sure how many people walk into the trials and say "hey, let's see if you can kill me, do your worst!"

I think that is partly the issue with dying from cannabis, you cannot use the stuff fast enough, and stay awake and toking etc, long enough to build up a lethal toxicity in your system.

Please , leave the THC alone and just jump off something real high if ya wanna kill yourself. If you did die from the THC, then all of us will lose our cards and and you'll send the whole MMJ community right back to square one. The fact that you would even ask that tells me you shouldn't use marijuana at all, in fact you shouldn't even own a computer.
