How much longer do you think I should wait before harvest time?...

I didn't get a response in my main thread... www.rollitup.org/t/my-second-windowsill-grow-hoping-to-learn-from-the-mistakes-of-my-first-one.1101411 ...so, here are the 2 plants in question...



This one is Glueberry OG which is listed as taking 8 weeks. I'm actually a day away from week 9.
All the amber colouration has happened in the last 2 or 3 days.






This is Northern Dragon Fuel which is supposed to take 10-11 weeks. Again it's a day from week 9 & already turning amber.
It's an indica strain & might actually have too much of a body-heavy effect if I wait too much longer.



What do people think?

The buds look very young and need maybe a two or three weeks until they are done at least. The pistils are looking fresh and most haven't turned orange/brown yet. The 8 weeks thing is if you are growing under lights I guess, and it will take a bit longer on a windowsill.
I'd give the glueberry at least 2 weeks more. Maybe 3 weeks more for the northern dragon

A while. Yea its been quiet here for a minute. I just type bump on the thread until I get response or just keep rambling lol. When one person joins one stops logging in I guess.

They've actually been getting 8 hours of supplementary LED lighting through the night from a 30cm x45cm 150w grow lamp.
Don't know if that might reduce your timing suggestion a bit? I'm in no hurry though so will happily wait.

I guess this means the buds will fatten up even more. They're already looking great for a window grow!

Look pretty good for a window grow indeed give it a few more weeks it should fatten up nicely

Plants are looking good for mostly a window grow. Both those plants have lots more growing to do and will keep getting better for weeks.

I would suggest waiting 3 weeks and coming back with more pictures.

Being a window grower I'm not getting a huge response, understandably. That's cool though. But yeah, I have noticed a bit of a snarky vibe here.

I'm not big on forums & the only other one I do frequent isn't weed related but it's super chill & informative. Maybe I just have high standards.

Yep, I've been here for 13 years. it started changing around 2016 when i noticed it, Earlier this year I just had about enough, I only look for info at this point. I started a thread here on NL strain and got one response , did the same thread at IC mag and got 5 pages of opinions and experiences.

As for your window growing, if you plan on growing as a hobby I'd invest in a small grow tent and a light, I just picked up a 20" x 20" x 48" grow tent and a decent vpiarspectra xs 1500 pro light for less than 150 usd new for a new grower so she can cut her teeth at it.

In a nutshell...I'm not a huge smoker & my first reeaaallly amateur window grow kept me in sub-standard weed for almost 2 years!

i'm not into getting a tent as I don't have much space (and my wife just about tolerates these plants because they look nice & we'll be making edibles with the leftovers). But, I was persuaded by folk on here to get supplementary lighting & bought a 30cm x 45cm 150w LED set-up that gives the plants 8 hours of extra light over night.

It was a good call. I have to move the plants to a particular corner of the flat each night & keep the door & curtains closed but it's working well.
That lamp you mentioned is actually selling on Amazon (Europe) with 45% off at the moment. I'd have been tempted if I'd known about it 4 weeks ago

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I'm curious about this ic mag. Been a member here since 2009. Shit, I don't know any better at this point. Is it really worth starting fresh?
