How much is your energy bill ?

Trying to work out my calculations ...and optimal light schedules from veg to flower (uk based )

Doing my calculations running 250watt led 12/12
Will cost me £12.01 a month ($16.36)

500watrs 12/12 £24.02 a month ($ 32.73)

Electricity is dearer I'm the uk . But that's not bad at all.

Before I had dialed in my light cycle and electricity I could have been paying £50 a month

My last bill was $520

I figure a 1,000W HPS, 18on/6off is about $100.00 a month in my area.

Recently I broke down and bought a central AC unit. The plants seem to love it! No more heat problems. No more humidity problems. There will be a cost to pay for all this happiness... on the electric bill.

Yeah this is all dependent on the outside temperature for me. If your conditioning air inside you going to be a lot better off, as far as burning electricity. But if your air conditioning outside air get ready to pay some money to the power company!
I've had my power bill Devilman close to Triple at times.

Power bills are tricky.

I get charged one rate up to a certain limit of kWh. After the kWh limit has been reached my kWh pricing goes up. I think I get charged more between certain hours during daytime, too.

the thing is I live in a building with over 20 units on 1 meter the only thing i worry about is tripping a breaker and causing suspicion how many units are on your meter just 1?

I figured once that i have around $350 invested in the finished product. I grow in a 2x2 tent.
4 months electricity is $250
The clones or seeds cost less than $50
The fertilizer cost is about $25
The cost of consumables(bubble stones, hoses), is about $25 per grow

My electricity bill is becoming a major headache! (UK)... Oil rads, dehumidifiers lights and fans, water pumps, timers thermostats etc etc on a pre paid meter as well as teenagers leaving tvs on in the daytime when nobody is in the house! I'm feeding the meter around £15 a day! It's killing me!
