How many have seen a gun pulled on another, except legally by cops?

Have you witnessed a gun being pointed at another illegally?

You don't get the mentality because you are 1) afraid of guns. 2) afraid of confrontation 3) your Agenda says that gun owners are stupid and reckless.

So, your ad hoc "what ifs" are based on the gun wielder being stupid and reckless and afraid and paranoid. Gun owners are the opposite of paranoid. We are cautious and wise. We know full well the consequences. We train at the range and we dry fire at home. We practice using the gun as a bashing weapon. What I don't understand is this attitude of "most people..." The criminals, btw, HAVE mastered ruse and fear.

By the time you detect them, it's too late for you. You freeze like an untrained deer in the headlights. That's the difference. You are a trusting babe in the woods, a prey beast. You carry the agenda that the world can and should be a child's garden. In a word, Naive.

And yes, I am basing THAT comment on the gun owner being paranoid and afraid. Read his own words. He admitted to practically shitting his pants while the stranger was walking towards him. He couldn't even drive his own car after the confrontation!!!

You are so far out on the right on this issue that you have abandoned the ability to be rational. Your default is to just ignore facts, and immediately take the side of anyone carrying a gun.

I've said many times I don't take sides. And obviously you have never been in a real confrontation. If you are not afraid you are very stupid, indeed.

If you can't use the fear as a tool of concentration, you can't be the master of fear, then you are the deer in the headlights. It is as simple as that and I have been both the deer and the Doer. The deer has lost his chance at deception. Better to do something.

And once again, you ignore what is being talked about and instead resort to busting out your crystal ball and telling me all about myself and my supposed "fears" or "stupidity".

Let's deal with the topic at hand: Do you feel that stashing guns outside of your house is a good idea? Is that responsible gun ownership, IYO?

Depends on how they're stashed imo.

Yes, it is a good idea. And I hope you take my comments about your Agenda to heart. No kids sneak around my yard. And if he brings a gun and claims he found it on my property then he is a little lying mo' fo. My guns are not registered. And they are not in plain sight.

What the hell do you know about responsible gun ownership, except what is the Agenda?

Only people that own a gun know anything about responsible gun ownership, or should have an opinion on the matter?

Leaving a gun outside your home accessible to whomever stumbles upon it is reckless, and stupid. To argue otherwise proves that you're either a dumb-dumb, or are choosing to be willfully ignorant.

For the record, I don't think you're a dumb-dumb.

And it's nice to see that your first concern about a little kid finding your gun would be to cover your own ass.

Speaks volumes towards your character.

Well, he would not have found my gun, is the point. You ideas on my character are Agenda.

But, my point is your ideas on my character are meaningless to me. You are just practicing Agenda. You won't find my hidden guns. They are locked up, outside, hidden. So, if your imaginary buddy in your hypothetical, know nothing Agenda play claims he found a gun on my property, he is lying.

So, I ask, what kind of parenting are you supporting in your fantasy? "Oh, it's OK, a little trespassing and robbery is normal?" Your agenda has you by the throat. Can't breath, can't think.

And, btw, have you ever even fired a gun?

Well, well, so I am now reckless, stupid and ignorant. Geez, I feel like I am back on the playground at grade school. Next your going to tell me I have cooties too.

First of all, I could let you scour your goofy ass around my house for days and I would bet my life you would not find my stashed gun.

My 3 acres is fenced 100% and has an electric gate due to the fact I own a large guard and I have warning signs both about me and my german shepherd. So noone is going to stumble upon anything in my yard except my dog and me. You are obviously a scared little person that relies on assumptions and 0 facts.

You know nothing of me or my homefront, so please try putting your brain into gear before you put your mouth into motion, because you are speaking to preserve your ignorance and it is working like a charm.

Now go back to your sandbox and leave the adult conversations to the adults.

Peace

You see, the vast twist of the Agenda minded is this. You just made that up. Just an agenda point that no one but you has said.

A False argument, that you perhaps didn't even do on purpose. An ASSUMPTION.

The Agenda has you where you can't think. This is just a stupid piece of Agenda based sophistry. False argument.

...accessible to whomever stumbles upon it is reckless,...

You soiled yourself and had to have your wife drive the car after having someone walk towards you (sounds frightening), and yet I'm the "scared little person?" LOL!!

Pot meet kettle.

Different type of scared. Adrenalin is good for you.

You seem scared of the 2ond Amendment. Sort of a general conceptual fear.

Please tell us, if and when you have ever had a dangerous confrontation? How did you feel?

We are listening.

first time i went on land (hunting deer at 13) without permission the farmer unloaded rocksalt like a fucken stagecoach gunner! I cant believe folks have grown up in the united states and not seen an illegal gun pulled on another? It must be a different world out here in the country huh? just last year a homeowner shot a thief breaking into there house while they were home(wait before you say thats legal) the thief was supposedly looking for directions....cough with a backpack full of window and door jamming equipment to open locks lmao. People kill people not guns there just another instrument of ours to use to destroy shit.

how about a thread on how many times we have seen the cops needlessly pull their guns out and threaten deadly force for minor reasons.

I have never managed the Hunter S. Thompson thing of creating some sort of hollow victory by getting to that.

But, I have managed to get them to put hand on hilt and step back into the stance. He was looking for his ticket book in his back seat and I guess I wandered too close. Woops. :)

I did not actually soil myself in the real sense, you idiot. You also failed to mention the part where I pulled my weapon and started walking towards the person. Yes, I was scared, not of them, but for my family, but far from frozen in my tracks. I did what I had to do and would have killed them if they did not stop. So excuse me for being human and not a terminator. If you are going to quote me, quote all I say, don't pick and choose to fit your needs chump.

Go play outside Jr.
