I have 2 1000 watt led lights in a 4x6 area and was curious as to what everyone thinks is the maximum number of plant I should have in this space? And any helpful advice to get the most per plant would be appreciated. Also I'm about to put 6 into flower under these light that have been significantly topped.

I have 8 under 3 1000watt hps and though it does the job three would be the most i would put under each one. give the outside ones a quarter or half turn just before or after the lights go on. im using open hoods for the heat since my room is in my shed and the arr 4'×2'. Im not positive about the 1000wat leds but im assuming that the like most leds need to be closer that mine but im just not sure its my first grow also.
Best thing is to figure out what the lights footprint is.( how for out the light spreads) the place them accordingly.
I do have a couple tips though, first is dont always believe what the ones who have been growing awhile say in here. seems they like to give out false info to see your first one fail. Listen to them then research it yourself before you put any validity to what you were told. Second is i found a dyi co2 option that im trying tonight did not hear about it in here, but get a bottle of white vinegar and some baking soda. put the baking soda into a bowl, then poke a hole in the cap of the vinegar to allow it to drip like once per 2 mins or close to it. Hang it like an iv over the bowl and let it drip into the bowl, then make sure you setting it up higher than the plants cause co2 is heavier than air and will sink. An walla co2 fir the girls!
it sounded off to me but i git that tip after getting told nit to give the co2 at night. truth is from what i was told and what i read they love it anytime.
oh and if you decide to use techniques like defoliating i would keep that to yourself or at least to the others that do it cause they will shit on ya for that. I did it and wow did i get some crap for that. so i have a post that some are following and one inparticular is a slippery baztered.

Thanks, this will be my second run with the LEDs and I've done a ton of research I was more so trying to figure out how many more lights to get. I'm also trying to maximize my yield through trial and error and also advice. I read a few places that there is a threshold between too much and too little light and to maximize yields per plant if you find that threshold and add c02 along with root growth that you will get the most out of each one.As for topping the plants if people want to give me shit for it they can have fun wasting their energy on words that will go in one ear and out the other haha. I'm not one to knock it before I try it. Also those pictures look beautiful.

Look into COBs instead. This is what 241w in a 4x2 does. Just over 2 weeks in flower.

What kind of LEDs? If they are COB DIY LED then they are probably a real 1000 watts.
If they are some Chinese burple LED that Amazon and EBay lie their asses off about 1,000 watts then it is not a real 1,000 Watts.
I am not trying to be an ass but Amazon and eBay sell a lot of crap to unsuspecting people. It s pretty sickening what they pawn off as "LEDs" from China. Those burples also usually suck in flower. Okay in veg.

I had some troll trying to convince me that they exhale co2 during the night cycle. Ive been around many grows and have a few buddies that have grown for decades, so i know better but said not a thing to him so that on week 6 in 2 weeks when i strip them again then just let them do what in fairly certain most of them will be very nice with fat nugs that from what im seeing, will have the possibility of being buds that weigh an oz. a piece. some of them have not a chance to get that big, but there are out of 8 plants probably 25 cola branches on each but only 4 main colas on each that could very well make it that big.
i dont suppose you know anything about about La confidential do ya ? like are they really as hungry for nutes as ive been hearing? And if so if i put Scotts superbud to them just once maybe twice just to see what happens with the two that arent doing so well. its a,12-55-6 nutes are higher than the fox farm products i ne seen. i have done the same with all of them and i just dont get ut
I'm using 1 1500 watt morsen light and 1 1000 watt blurple light so I actually have 2500 watts(not really if the blurple ones are that bad) I may have to look into this cob led. If that's the case I'll add that to what I have and keep both types of lights haha.

I do 4 in 5 gal at ~800w. 5 weeks veg and it's really tight at the end, but works for me.
I've been using "advanced nutrients" and haven't had any issues so far but I'm doing hydro with clay rock not soil. I've been told that if you're using soil and have a good brand that you shouldn't have to add anything extra to it and if you do most of the time you'll be over feeding them. But from my experience if you're doing everything the same and two are growing different it could maybe have something to do with the roots bunching up. I had that happen with a bubba lush and it looked terrible while the rest looked great.
How much do you usually yield if you do t mind me asking?

Depending on strain 2 to 6 zips of just bud no popcorn per plant. The Pucker Tang gave me ~5 zips of bud last round. The lemon pucker 4. The Sitting Bull around 3.5. The Twisty treats another 3. It filled 8 1/2 gal. Jars when dried. Also had 4 gal bags of popcorn. Maybe 8 zips of popcorn? Didn't check. I just grow for myself and don't shoot for quantity. Plus I'm not really much of a grower. Just use promix.

I have an area around 15 sq ft. I try for 4 colas per plant. I like variety so 4 varieties with 4 plants. It's better than cheating on my wife. That kind of variety will get you divorced.
