How long to fill a SCROG?

very very fast. I can fill a 4 by 4 scrog screen almost completey in ONE 2 gallon waterfarm bucket by vegging it for 4 weeks and flowering for 9. But in flower I change to HPS or just use my LEC 315watt SUnsystem light. I never went a full grow with MH. good luck and happy gardening.

Yeah, I planned to veg under MH and flower under HPS because I've read that's the best way to get fast veg growth, and healthy flower growth. So filling the screen with 4 plants in 5 gallon DWCs shouldn't take much time at all? And what are you counting as the start of your veg? When the seed pops or when the plant is a certain height or what?
 
don't expect any mind blowing growth until about 2 and half weeks then in 3 weeks your girls will start getting very vigourous growth. you will see the strength evolve. varialbes will be what products your using and health of your seedling of course. but if you got everything dialed growht will be very fast . I think you don't have enough room personally for 4 5gallon buckets.
 
your plants are going to get huge and your not going to have enough canopy space. Its going to turn into an over grown jungle.. out of control. might have humidity problems with no good air flow.

If I just flower when the screen is 75% full shouldn't it be okay? It shouldn't have explosive growth during flower right?
 
kid, you got no idea..
your plants will get 3 to 4 times the size that they are at the time you finish veg. u really need to take a look at my waterfarm scrog journal . Ill find you the link..
 
yes. if you train your girls with the scrog screen dropped when they get 12 inches tall (approx. 4 weeks In veg) and leave that screen down and weave your branches nice and long. 2 plants will completely fill your 4 by 4 except for 2 small corner portions of the screen. You should place one plant in the back left corner and the other in the front right. Stretch your branches to fill the screen diagonally so that they both get the same amount of room.
I hope your running indicas.. cuz sativas.. well ....only one can fit. lol

He's probably right I have a 4x4 tent with 4, 5 gallon buckets. I vegged for 5 weeks and...I'm going to be over grown. With no screen and only 6 foot of height. Should get interesting I just flipped yesterday 12/12 lol.

So 4 weeks of veg before they even touch the screen. Then how long to fill it? I was literally hoping to flip to flower by like March 6th.

And the waterfarm has a drip ring on top of the net pot right? So should I add that to my buckets?

i did 6 plants from clone in a 4x4 under a 1000 watt metal halide. I veg'd them for 25 days before they were ready to flip scrog was 75-80& full.

Day 20 of veg.

So what is the definition of veg? Because I always thought it meant from the time your seed has its first set of true leaves.
 
@SmerkedOut I'm on my first grow and treated it as a seedling until I transplanted from beer cup to 3 gal pot. Had about 3-5 nodes. Maybe someone with more experience has a more educated and correct response
