How long to fill a SCROG?

How long do you guys think it would take (from seed) for 4 plants to fill a 4x4 scrog net under a 600w MH bulb? I'm just trying to get a time frame here to see if it's doable.

EDIT: Growing in 5 gallon hempy buckets

Firstly you don't want to fill it completely during veg.

You want to aim for 75% then switch to 12/12 and fill up the rest during the first 2 weeks of 12/12.

I would estimate that it would take 5-7 weeks of veg time to train under a 4x4 screen with 4 plants.

Hmm, 5 weeks sounds about right. Indicas will take longer longer usually, sativas a little quicker.
Alright, I was hoping around 4-5 so that's not too bad. I guess there's no harm in not having a full screen either, so even if I run 4 weeks I should have a decent screen going.

I can fill 80% of a 4x4 w/ 4 plants in a month in soil with a 1000 watt. I dim mine starting at 50% then 75% then a full 1000watts by the time its 80% full though so I'm not wasting light.. so I'm gonna take a stab and say 4-5 wks

Yeah that's what I'm gonna be running. a 1000w mh for veg and then a 1000w hps for flower. My ballast dims 400w, 600w, 1000w so I was gonna run 600w on the MH for veg and then 1000w on the HPS for flower.

it happens man, weather genetics, or you stress that bitch out. I had to cut a plant out of a scrog, my vocabulary during deemed I go to church right after.
I found 1 banana in my last harvest, and that's with over 60% of the buds being lost to mold. So I think these particular seeds are pretty herm resistant, which is nice.

yeah, one nanner don't mean shit, I know of strains that you cant help it really. like powdery mold? if you catch it early I know of people who successfully got rid of it. I can find out how if you want. at least your dealing with good seeds then.

Like high humidity wet mold. I didn't have good air circulation and I paid for it big time. Lost what I estimate to be 20oz because of it. But you better believe I learned my lesson lol

Were they Indica by any chance? I always battle humidity and thellowest I can keep it stable is 50%. I haven't grown Indica in years, just sativa dom plants, but will be growing 90% Indicas in a couple weeks they hit flower. Hoping I don't have mold problems because they are so thick and shrub like.

White Widow is supposed to be indica dominant, and they definitely looked like it. There's no way to be sure of course since every breeder does things a little different. But yeah, they had fat leaves and the buds give you one HELL of a body stone!

Right on, I love white widow! I need indicas for bed time and I'm tired of growing all sativas and buying indica so I figured I'd get some in the garden. I have mk ultra, aurora indica and fruity chronic juice and they are super dense in foliage. Do you have any tips for avoiding mold? I have very little experience with indicas. Would keeping my humidity around 50% avoid problems? I already am getting moisture on the leaves from over lapping and they are in veg so I really have no idea what to expect. Most indicas don't stretch much in flower and if these don't stretch too much I can see a lot of issues happening with mold :p

Sorry to highjack your thread man :p

Oh no, you're totally cool on the "hijack" lol. And so far I'm at a 0% success rate on preventing mold so take my advice as just a beginning. I'm gonna be adding wall mounted oscillating fans to my tent, and I'm using a phresh filter so I can have my exhaust at full power without being afraid of smell. If humidity is somehow still too high, I'll have to pay up and buy a dehumidifier. And if your strain behaves anything like my WW did, it'll stretch like 8 inches in week 1 flower, and the just stop. It scared me because I didn't know it would stop and I was like oh shit it's gonna hit the light.
