How long do I have to switch back to 12/12?

I had 11 plants and when I started flowering I ended up with only 3 being female which sucks. I’ve been in 12/12 for about a week and a half and now since I lost so many plants I wanna just switch back to veg and grow those three bigger while I prep and veg new seedlings for the next month. Can I switch back to 18/6 or is it too late?

I don’t wanna create stress herms. But with the shortage of plants I need to make my 4x8 back a veg tent.

You can switch them back but it will take a few weeks for them to start to veg again at this point. It might also elicit some weird reveg type growth.

Sadly this is a risk you run when growing from seed. I prefer to take clones from my seedlings as soon as it’s practical and then flower the clones or the seedlings to determine sex.

You can manipulate the light cycle any way you like. Herms are usually caused by regularly interrupted darkness, light leaks during darkness, and/or genetic predisposition; simply changing light cycle is fine. I do it all the time.. currently doing this right now w/my own plants.
Depending upon how far into bloom phase they are it may take awhile to transition back to veg mode. They will go back to veg with time but you might see some single blade fan leaves and it can take a couple weeks to see new growth.

Dude! 4x8 and needing 2 rooms... make a divider! Cardboard, duct tape, and a few mylar emergency blankets. BOOM 2, 4x4 grow spaces. One veg, auto, and clone, the other flower only. Your girls can't be big enough to fill it if you've just forced pre-flowering. Time it correctly and you can run a perpetual grow. I harvest about one a month with my 2 tents.

I have a separate tent for veg. What I’m saying is that I’d rather veg both tents right now instead of wasting an entire 4x8 to flower three plants

Then super crop the shit out of them and reveg. You'll end up with 3 absolute monsters. Not sure how long reveg will take, typically 4-6 weeks from full flower.

I'd do the same, the light is going to be burning anyway its better to be full.

At 11 days they're only at the very beginning of flower it shouldn't take too long to reveg again.
