How long did everyone wait before...

They looked at their girls for the first time after they were flipped?? My girls spent all day today lonely and scared in the dark for their first time, felt so bad I almost left them a night light, ha, jk. I'm gonna refrain from looking and may hold off till tom.

I have gone 3 or 4 days without checking on them if they had just started flower...but I am not 100% on what you are asking.

When you first flipped to 12/12 and your lights came on at say noon, how long did you wait to look at your girls, during your first grow??

lol just let them be. If you have to go look at them, go get yourself a green light bulb so you don't wake them

I'm going to leave them alone during nap time for sure. They have been under light 24/0 for 42 days and I just started my first flower cycle. Curious as to what they'll look like their first morning after dark.

You will begin to notice that the tops turn a lime green color or a color lighter than that of the dark green fan leaves. My flowering tent is in the cooler range at "night" for my girls....usually around 62F, so my new additions to the tent tend to sometimes droop a bit at night time. But once they adjust to the new light and cooler temperature they bounce back great. Start looking for plant stretch over the next 2-3 weeks and bend your plant stems if you have to to get the best light coverage to all your potential bud sites. Depending on strain, you will notice little spider buds beginning to form after 7-20 days

Well during my first grow I feel like I spent most of the time just staring at the plants...all day everyday...but that leads to a lot of problems...by the 4th grow I was able to properly ignore the poor things. And things started going awesome.

Yep. Less is more sometimes. Getting over the separation anxiety is tough at first :)

Every few days i'll pull em out and check the buds for any type of pests or mildew and gaze, but other than that and watering/feed they're in my closet. The pots are too heavy to be moving around every 5 minutes and it's not much of a sight to see a plant under an hps bulb that makes the whole plant look yellow.

I think the biggest thing I was concerned with at first was bug problems. I heard plenty of horror stories so, I was on guard for several grows. Predator mites are my heros.
