I have no need to use CO2. I grow large healthy plants without it. I'm not trying to maximize my yields. I'm not growing for profit.
So why are you replying to a thread about CO2?

leaving the door open is only good for the first days
with big plants co2 would be depleted in few minutes
plus you attract all the pest of creation
co2 burners is the way to do. i never vented again after i tried co2 enrichment

And I completely agree with the post above, leaving the door open is just asking for trouble, and without an exhaust to suck air in it would be of minimal effect.

It's not like he had to keep the door open for the entire grow. He was getting replacement parts in a period of 12 hrs.
Ummm... What if bugs got in during that time...?
What if neighbours could see light with door open...?
What if mould spores got in...?
Door on my sealed room never stays open for any longer than is necessary and has sticky floor mats on both sides of door.
More reading less typing my friend.

Now technically that is not a sealed room you would need an air lock chamber before entering a sealed room plus an air shower at minimum do you know how many natural mold spores you carry and how many tiny insects can be on you and in the air when you open the door.

All depends on the setup. If running a sealed setup then yes definately, in a fairly large area with intake and exhaust it wouldn't be necessary. If running a sealed area you need to supplement CO2 with any lights, that doesn't mean you need to go to extreme levels, 400ppm like outside is fine.
Haha yeah but by sealed we just mean no air intake and no exhaust.
I have no idea about how many spores can be on a person. I try to keep it clean in there, have had a few big colas get the odd bit of Botrytis but nothing major.
Havnt had any bug issues in my sealed room yet besides Gnats and a few ants finding their way in somewhere. Bloody hate gnats.
I was just messing with you but that would be nice not dealing with gnats.
I'll take gnats any day over thrips though.
