How is my Grow Closet?

Just looking for some ideas for improvement or some validation if the setup is okay. I've never grown before so I'm new to this, open to ideas! The space is 2x5x6, I lined it with mylar insulation for reflectivity. Built a 1 inch PVC frame and I have 2 600W LED Full Spectrum lights. (They are quality lights from Amazon, but probably don't actually put out 600W each, I'm thinking it's more around 400W if that. I just mounted a terrabloom 4" inline fan with speed adjuster, and that's venting onto the attic, and I have an infinity charcoal filter attached. (Not pictured, I took the pic before I attached it) So far just one fan. What am I missing? I don't have a humidifier, so far the temperature and humidity have been fairly stable when I keep the door shut, but gets a little wonky when I open it up. I'm growing 2 CBD Hawaiian Haze, which have a week headstart from the THC strains, which are 3 BF LSD, 1 BF Blue Gelato 41, and 2 freebies called K-8. The THC strains are sitting in a humidity dome that I made with rubber totes. I will be doing 18/6 for a few weeks then going 12/12 to keep them small. I will have lots of small plants, i think it's called SOG? Anyways, let me know what you guys think!

Quality lights and amazon don't normally go in the same sentence , least with LED.
I would look at the small print and find out the power consumption.

Keep an eye on the humidity in the attic , hopefully you have plenty of ventilation up there, otherwise you could end up with a mouldy attic and a new roof..

A thermometer will be more accurate out of direct light, especially when its black, a small piece of white card to shield it will do.

Be careful with humidity domes and seedlings, there is no air movement in there so they can dampen off, keep an eye out for fur on the base of the stem, they can also get much hotter since its a mini green house. Remove the dome when they are fully open.

Looks like ViparSpectra hella blue spectrum. Other than the lights being iffy (but adequate, just a bit hot for the wattage) and the seeds...mmm....yeah BF not maybe the greatest...but good job otherwise so far.

Add a fan inside for air circulation and stem strengthening, follow coreywebster’s other advice, you should be good to go.

Word. Thanks a lot! Ive got a pretty big attic with exhaust vents so I think it should be fine. (I hope) What does fur on the base of the stem mean?

I was under the impression BF was a good breeder, however I'm still waiting on two of the LSDs to sprout☹. The K-8 popped right up after less than a day on soil, I was impressed considering they were freebies and I'd never heard of the breeder. (V Elementum)

Sorry, should of said mould/mold

Yeah a small grow with a big ventilated attic shouldn't be a problem.

I guess I just like building stuff lol
I predict you will be building your own light within a couple of grows. :bigjoint:

Well it's usually a waste of money to built some of these low end products because you end up just throwing them away once you realize the tents do such a better job.

two things that don't make sense making yourself, grow tents and cheap cloners
I think my main reason for building one is the wierd demensions of my closet, I couldnt find a grow tent that would fit right, so I built one. But I definitely see your point. Hopefully in the next year or two I can move to place with more space

Oh okay gotcha. And is building lights actually a thing?
Sure is.

Here is a post from a member who built their own and decided to share here on RIU.
