Boot camp was 8 weeks long...so barring heart attack, that time frame is doable. But, how fast can I get in shape?

If you're under 30...Boot camp was 8 weeks long...so barring heart attack, that time frame is doable.

and have a D.I. screaming at you for motivation, poking you with a baton when you aren't trying hard enoughIf you're under 30...
As you should...good goin'I feel proud of myself.
congratulations. a lot of people are negative against those little short exercise routines but often when someone is just starting out motivation is the hardest stumbling block and the little short exercise routines can be just the ticket to get the routine of working out started without being overwhelming. once you start to feel how good it can make you feel then you will naturally start to seek out better exercise plans.I didn't have much time to exercise, so I downloaded some apps that can guide me with workouts that only last for 7 minutes. I tried this 2 months ago and I have lost so much weight since then! Of course, it goes along with my strict diet. Now, I'm doing CrossFit almost 4-5x a week. I can't imagine how much muscles I am already gaining. I feel proud of myself.
You gotta workout those chicken legs. You're one leg kick away from never being able to walk again.my biggest advice to clients who dont have much experience with exercise is to get yourself a gym membership (10 bucks a month) and start watching youtube! lots of educational vids out there to help you nail your diet and learn some exercises to try at home (calisthenics) or the gym. Just find some type of exercise you enjoy and make it a habit, same time most or every day.
oh.... and yeah eat wayyy less dicks if possible.... helps a lot

I gave up on developing anything beyond the legs of a 12 year old polio ridden little girl long ago, im a martial artist anyway, not a bodybuilder so.... short of juicing and gaining a bunch of unnecessary weight... I doubt ill ever be able to live my dream of dancing for my father
I agree 100%, I have been doing the Ketogenic Diet for some time now. It is a lifestyle for me, not so much a "diet", and I use the word "diet" as a fabricated system, writen by some self-proclaimed nutritionist experts promising a quick and rapid weight loss with unannounced side-effect health issues that come with fad diets. When I talk to family and friends who want to offer me food as gifts or have a social event with foods that I deem unfit for my keto lifestyle, I remind them that i am Keto, not that I am on a Keto Diet. I have choosen this as a lifestyle, just as a Vegans or Paleo diet is a lifestyle and not a fad (for the majority who chose to go that path)The problem is they see it as a diet. I hate that word. People should few anything as a full on life style change. Take the op looking for something fast if done right you can maintain and be healthy it’s all in the head. I eat clean low to no carbs other than what comes from veggies and simply eat clean. I used to do dirty bulking back when I use to power lift and was in the military. Now I maintain a keto style eating and I’m healthy as far as my heart, liver and everything is concerned. Most people need the mental fortitude to use moderation and stop eating sugary junk and consuming empty calories.
Hi Bams...Infused oil as part of a diet...gotta love the creativity. I have been on a low carb diet (mostly) since the Atkins diet came out. Metabolically it just made so much sense. I'm 69 years old, fifty pounds lighter then I was at 50 and I have perfect cholesterol. So I see no reason to change now...They mix really well as "Canna Fat Bombs" being I use Virgin Coconut Oil infused with Cannabis to make these.
Coconut oil is unsaturated???I agree 100%, I have been doing the Ketogenic Diet for some time now. Keto is also far more than a weight loss program, it can be taylored just as any other lifestyle goes. To lose weight , maintain weight, or even gain weight. I originally started this lifestyle as a weightloss program, and then decided that being I am on the keto train, and enjoy everything about it, that it will remain as a part of me. Since I have started Keto I have lost 40kg, my arthritis does not flare up as often, I have been taken off 1 of my 2 blood pressure meds with my Doc talking about reducing the strength of the current one I am on, to eventually drop that med all together.
Another thing I like about Keto is the "Fat Bombs" (For those unaware of Keto, Fat Bombs are a one off Fat treat to boost fuel for your blood ketones without spiking your carbohydrates, made with healthy unsaturated fats like Virgin Coconut Oil). They mix really well as "Canna Fat Bombs" being I use Virgin Coconut Oil infused with Cannabis to make these.

Thanks! You are right with it!congratulations. a lot of people are negative against those little short exercise routines but often when someone is just starting out motivation is the hardest stumbling block and the little short exercise routines can be just the ticket to get the routine of working out started without being overwhelming. once you start to feel how good it can make you feel then you will naturally start to seek out better exercise plans.
Ideally, if you're focused and committed, you can lose around a pound a day, healthily. But that's optimistic. I would shoot for 15lbs a month. So 2 months, 30lbs, 4 months, 60lbs, etc. It's hard to stay in shape and fit when you are just staying at home and cook for your family. I do that everyday and only a few exercises. I want to establish my goal in losing weight and focus on maintaining my ideal weight. But, how fast can I get in shape? Can you tell me some tips?
The only difference I do on Keto is I don’t eat all the fat they want you to eat.i get some fats from fish I do use coconut oil mainly because it’s full of MCT and I take MCT oil mixed in my protein shakes.I was on strict Keto diet for two months, primarily to heal my gut. I've introduced a little more fruit since then and my weight is holding steady now some 4 or 5 months in. Getting off processed foods with lots of sugar has greatly increased my energy levels, but be warned, transitioning to Keto off a high sugar diet is no picnic. After a couple weeks it gets easier as you have a new all day level of energy and focus. But that diet is not for everyone, especially middle aged women who have had mono or Epstein Bahr Virus, probably other medical conditions too, so do some research. In my case it was the best thing I ever did for my health.
