How does selling somebody a gay cake violate your religious freedom?

I love how bigots can just waive their Bible around as an excuse to remain bigoted.

You don't have to like gay people or approve of what they're doing, but you can't deny them business simply based on their sexuality....smh. Atheists disapprove of all religions. Can an atheist business owner deny serving Christians or Muslims? Nope...
I waived my bible when I was a kid.

Oh, you want me to bake you a cake ? OK, Are you sure you want me to do that ?

Are the Gay people crying again. Do they want Gay Rights at someone`s expense ? Only the Gay should have Rights, as you prolly figured out.

If your Right is my wrong ..too F`n bad, cry over there someplace.

actually, the religious bigots want special rights at the expense of whoever is the target of their religious bigotry.

gays only want the same civil rights we all enjoy, and seeing as how they want to buy stuff from other people, it is not at anyone's expense. when you pay someone to provide you a service, it is not at that person's expense. just the opposite, in fact.

It's almost like you're saying what we're all thinking. It's really not that weird. It's pretty fucking cool actually.

Ok. Can you help me understand what you are feeling when you get a hypothetical gay cake order? Is it the fact that making a cake would give the gay couple joy? Is it the feeling that you are facilitating an act that is aberrant by making a cake?

If not, what is it?

If you had a bakery would you proudly display the groups you would not serve outside the store? How do you think your customers (non gay, etc.) would react? Some have suggested this. I am intrigued.

If you could charge double for a gay cake, would you? Triple? If a gay couple offered you $10,000 for a $200 cake, would you do it?

Seriously. I would really like to understand what your feelings or beliefs are.

How is selling somebody a cake a violation of your rights? If you maintain that the government has no right to tell you what to do in this regard, where do you draw the line in things like employment and housing? I honestly don't, and never have gotten it.

We're never going to agree. But right now, I just see this view as "assholey". Help me see your point of view.

The whole thing is just a legal loophole for bigots so they can be openly hateful while they wave the bible about proclaiming their religious rights.
It's seriously the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard and if it wasn't such a serious issue would be laughable.

The first part, you`re prolly right. That`s pretty much what I`d think a bigot would do.

The second half kinda relates to the first. They have the same Rights. If you came in my shop and I didn`t know you were Gay, you`d be serviced. If I knew you were Gay, you`d be serviced, If you came into my shop with your speedo`s pulled up to your shoulders wearing sandles, with some guy named .."come along" tied to you and said, hey, you non gay, make me a cake. Your better off letting me put you through the door on the way out cuz you and your friends really wont trust the cake. That`s my point. Why would a gay marriage or "function' go the the First Baptist Church Bakery to order ? Now if Father Paul`s shop is the only Service for miles, ....You`re up shits creek. (can they do that ?)

I hope you can maybe understand that, Gay`s are people too. People come in different varieties and some people don`t like that. We`re never all gonna be the same. But then there`s the finger through the toilet paper Gay. The one that parades around with signs and statements announcing their presence and making sure you know they`re Gay. Location doesn`t seem to matter.

I saw the same news story, it`s about the "finger through" Gay. Buy the way, that one get`s thrown out of my shop cuz they aint touching or breathing on my food.
