Personally, I can't stand joints, I like spliffs. I spent 100 odd on a roof bong, bought one of fdds pipes, bought a volcano, I never use them, nothing is as pleasurable as a spliff :-) even before I was a tobacco smoker. I'll take a spliff over a joint any day of the week :-) little joint, bong, pipe, I find it like drinking shots. I very much prefer the drawn out practice if smoking a big spliff. To me the pleasure of the smoke is almost more important than the high.

The downside is that it does often lead to an addiction to nicotine as a side effect, so long as you have a steady supply of weed it fine, but when you are forced to stop, well for me, I suddenly found cigarettes rather appealing.

I swear my nicotine addiction is way worse than my weed one.

Decided to have a weed/booze free Jan and I feel ok but i can't seem to quit smoking or coffee. Made an honest attempt but work was murder.

That's genuinely one of the reasons I can't quit tobacco. I can afford a small bag of weed here and there, but I have to buy a whole ouch of tobacco to smoke with it! Alas the shop up the road stopped selling tobacco out of the jar a year or so back. I was only able to give up alcohol for December. Life without booze sucks though, so I'm making compromises instead of just cutting it out. I do really want to give up tobacco though, but my bong, pipe, vape, and joints, well, I just feel like its a waste of my weed. I was a very rare smoker, and then I got a job in a high pressure understaffed restaurant and we'll, any excuse for 5 minutes out back. And now I can't stop. Fuck! I gave up for 2 months, and then you have that one shit shift and bam..

Man, glad it's not just me. I'm realising life sucks sober. It just seems that bit more grey and boring.

Does this make me an addict?

Not at all. Its just one of those releases or pleasures. Some have an expensive box of chocolates, we justbhappen to like booze. Again, like with the joints over pipes, half of the thing for me is not the buzz, but that I love the experience. I do not touch spirits, occasionally wine, I just love a good pint of beer that I can savour, and savour, and savour, and savour. I like the act of drinking, so when I do have spirits (I sometimes tell myself I'll enjoy whiskey if I buy a really expensive bottle of the good stuff) its all gone an hor later :-D

Off topic for the winzorhaxor3l1tes! Deal with it :-) my justification is that if you're on a drug forum and things don't go off topic then you're doing drugs wrong!

Yeah prob right. All this talk of spliffs has got me thinking I should just roll one. Why am I trying to punish myself during the shitiest month of the year.

I start work again on Saturday, got to pay off road tax,but think I'm gonna have to go buy a bag :-) I'll justify it as a reward for sending off ,y university application :-) not because I love weed and can't say nonifni can afford it.

I rolled a cross joint once. It stayed lit but man what a waste of weed. Better to roll three joints.

And not all Americans roll "blunts" lol

Grind up the good stuff, lay out a kingy skin (I like RAWs, or anything super thin I can't stand the taste of burning paper) then I follow the UK way of dropping in some tobacco from the cig. Gradually been moving away from the tobacco one cig gets me 3/4 spliffs. Like someone mentioned earlier, small bags big prices. The peeps around my way are paying £20 for 1.3 grams of pretty poor bud. If you want to pick up an oz of mediocre shit it's still going to cost £240.

I'm in no way opposed to a nice pipe, bong, vape ect. There is an added 'something' for me in rolling one up. Especially at 4am early start feeling like dog shit, 5 mins of prep and toke makes for a good start to a bad day.

Up and baked at 4am. Don't know how you monsters do it. I wake up as baked as I went to bed. if I blazed up at that time I would be usless all day.

The video is how I started one handed, I slowly evolved over 6 weeks to using my Left hand alone to pull this off.
Fold paper lay it in the crease between thumb and ring finger, fill paper and lick paper and roll upward against fingers.
like I said I've got Arthritis and I can hardly hold a pen, I type with one finger on an iPad.
thats why I have so many type O's.

I rolled with a bill for many years. Always got a very nice cigarette look. Now days I use a JB (Job) 1.25 roller. In just the last year, it seems like every rolling machine has become made by the same Chinese factory. They all roll about 1.5 mm too thick of a smoke. Plus, they break all the time. I actually buy them, cut a small strip out of the belt and tape it together in order to get the right diameter (a little OCD I guess). Yeah, there's tobacco in there. My cousin, an honest to goodness cowboy can roll with one hand. Never had one that smoked the way I want it to. But when I roll my way, they look like a machine did it. I really do wish some CNC wizard could make me a set of good metal spindles. I'll pay.

I get a lot of stomach pains, especially when work has been crazy so some nights I only sleep 2-3 hours max. I also work for a real, real shitty wage so supplement it with 14 hour shifts :lol: If I didn't have the smoke to wake up to I honestly don't know if i'd do the job. I don't drink or do anything but work, smoke, have some fun and go back to work. Simple life for me o7

Man, sounds like you and the crew need to get together and do the big dirty. 14hr shifts. That's obviously not a living wage. Whoever you are working for is getting away with making money by paying workers a pittance. Why should he make money while you can't afford to live. Time to burn their shit down.

I didn't even know you guys roll with a bank note. Never seen it done. Take it it's just like a rolling mat?
